Job Description
Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Case Manager, functions as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team to provide services to homeless women and children who have difficulty breaking the cycle of homelessness, are hard to place and/or have special needs, through needs assessment, direct case management and coordination of referral for services/placements both within and outside the agency. Serves as an agency expert on community resources, provides social work assistance to staff and shelter monitors.
Qualifications/Skills
Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a Human Services related field. Minimum of five years of experience related field. Understand needs of homeless women and children along with the issues that effect specific sub populations of homeless women such as domestic violence, seniors, single women, and substance abusers.
