Job Description
Thai Sous Chef - New Castle
Applicants must have three years work experience in a Thai restaurant as a sous chef or head chef or be qualified to NVQ level 3 or above with a good knowledge in Thai food. Main duties will be to assist Head Chef in Managing the operation of a Thai Kitchen and the preparation and production of Authentic Thai Food, prepare starters, garnishes and cook all sauces and dressings.
Sous Chef will be required to cook sweets both hot and cold. The sous chef will also be required to deputise for the head chef.
Other duties will include monitoring and ordering stock, minimising kitchen wastage and ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety are maintained
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK
