Job Description
Our client specialises in offering total network infrastructure solutions to the global telecom networks market, particularly relating to telecommunications outsourcing and telecommunications equipment installation. Effectively it is up to the sales team to qualify and manage customer expectations for these installations. Location is flexible.
We now have several opportunities that have arisen for sales professionals to join a busy department. They require a Sales Account Manager, Strategy Account Managers, Area Managers and an International Sales Manager. These posts will cover various territories from North to South with extensive travel and time spent on customer site. Other aspects of the role can be based from home with minimal travel to head office in West Midlands. Customer facing is a key part of the role. The International Sales Manager will be required to travel extensively throughout Europe and EMEA plus several other countries such as Hong Kong.
Responsibilities will include developing the strategy to maintain and grow the business globally whilst protecting the existing customer base. Maintain and manage existing customer accounts. Identify and target new business opportunities with market research and planning utilising all sales aids. Direct liaison with new and existing customers. Support the acquisition of new business. Support the retention of existing business. Report to senior management Office any market intelligence that may affect individual, team or organisational performance.
Knowledge required:
Product/technical capability experienced in selling into OEM's and Carriers. Excellent Customer Relationship skills. Technical background ie, any knowledge of racks/cabinets, connectors, optical or a telecom service providers. . Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Experience required:
Minimum 2-5 years general experience in communications or associated industry An effective influencer, motivator and team worker. Proactive approach. Solutions thinker to issues and problems.
