Job Description
One of the UK's leading specialist tour operators is seeking enthusiastic Travel Consultants to join their sales team. The roles involve selling brochure tours as well as designing and costing tailor-made itineraries for independent travel to the following destinations:
India
Australia and New Zealand
China and Japan
The ideal candidates will have an excellent knowledge of the region gained by relevant travel experience along with a passion for selling the destination.
Good sales techniques and an excellent telephone manner are required. The positions require attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service. Applicants need to be computer literate with good writing/keyboard skills. Previous travel industry and CRS (ideally Worldspan) experience is preferred.
These positions are based in central London and offer a salary between £19,719 and £22,348 depending on experience.
