Senior Project Manager
Portsmouth, Hampshire, South East
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Senior Project Manager
Management of LSTK/LS (EPC), Project with TIC between 40 and 80 mio : or PMC Project as Program Manager or EPCM project with manhours between 100.000 and 150.000 manhours.
Roles & Responsibilities
Execution of the assigned project to Client satisfaction on or before schedule and within budgeted costs.
· Translates Client and company requirements into project/business goals
· Translates market opportunities into project/ business opportunities
· Prepares, completes and manages high quality project execution plans
· Pro-actively manages the total project in particular the risks and opportunities in the various areas (people, execution, business etc.)
· Leads/ manages and aligns the various parties (internal and external), which directly or indirectly are involved in the project
· Manages/ meets financial company and Client targets (costs, profits, TIC, LCC etc.)
· Ensures that project execution fully complies with contractual commitments.
· Identifies, manages, mitigates/exploits Risks and Opportunities
· Pro-actively initiates/promotes a business/ commercial attitude on the project
· Develops, maintains and fosters internal and external relations
· Actively develops execution and business skills in the organisation as a whole and in individuals
· Leads medium size proposals
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· TU, BSc, MSc Technical Discipline
· Minimum 8 years project management experience with primary responsibilty for large multidisciplinary projects in preferably the chemical and petrochemical industry
· Broad expertise and knowledge of the work processes and functions which make up a total PMC or EPC project
· Fluent in English
· Past experience of executing projects in Middle East and or India/ China
· Experience in the field during construction on at least one project.
Other Matters:
Frequent travel needed to visit sites, attend Client/Licensor meetings etc.
