Senior Environmental Management Systems Consultant See other jobs from Index Recruitment Status: Full Time Salary: Dependent on experience Job Location: Europe > United Kingdom > Manchester   Job Description Senior Environmental Management Systems Consultant The client are seeking a dynamic, and forward thinking Environmental Management consultant to join our team of environmental management systems specialists reporting to the Manchester office. The Environmental Management Systems team provides consultancy support to a wide range of private and public sector clients, large and small, within a wide variety of business sectors. Our main areas of work include: Environmental Management System (EMS) development and support, including the provision of related training services; Health and safety management system development and support; EHS performance assessment and benchmarking services; Sustainability and corporate responsibility services. The position will be based from our Manchester office although flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Ireland in the delivery of client services will be required. Key Competencies Qualifications: Educated to degree level. Personal Qualities: The successful candidate will also have strong communication, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills. Experience The successful applicant will ideally have: At least 1 year of practical experience in the implementation of Environmental Management Systems and training delivery; A grounding in Quality and Health and Safety management; A grasp of sustainability principles would be beneficial.
