Job Description
We are currently looking for more than 50 security officers in London. These are full time positions which involve shift work which will include nights and weekends.
In order to be successful, we will need to do background checks for the last five years. Although an SIA license would be preferable, we are prepared to assist suitable applicants to obtain their license.
Job Description
To ensure the safety and security of clients, property, employees and visitors whilst maintaining an effective security presence. To deter and prevent crime being committed.
Nature & Scope:-
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements of the client.
Key Responsibilities:-
· Undertake regular patrols and inspections of the clients premises in accordance with the Site Instructions
· Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
· Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
Key Accountabilites: -
· Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted on to the client's premises.
· Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
· Observe entrance and exit points.
· Immediately report suspicious packages and security issues following the correct procedures.
· Challenge unauthorised persons in restricted areas.
· Check security of fire exits and door seals.
· Carry out random patrols.
· Assist management in carrying out arrests where relevant.
· Ensuring that all other aspects of the Assignment Instructions are adhered to.
· In addition to these functions employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.
