Job Description
The Quality Team Leader will be responsible for evaluating and reporting on the quality of software products at this leading software development company. This includes developing test plans, setting test schedules, assigning test plans, and clearly communicating results so that the entire team can improve the products and fulfill business objectives.
The successful candidate will work with the rest of the QA team as well as software developers to ensure that products are rigorously tested and consistent value is delivered to their users.
the role:
Review requirements and designs
Develop comprehensive test plans that explain the test strategy for a project
Prioritize and assign tasks to team (e.g., executing test plans, running test cases, investigating bug reports, etc.)
Set test schedules and communicate schedules to stakeholders
Support testers by reviewing work and providing feed
Report on test lifecycle progress
Alert team to emerging issues and concerns
Work with the QA Manager and QA Process Analyst to improve QA processes
The Ideal Candidate
Bachelors degree in either Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
2-3 years experience in software QA
1-2 years experience in a QA lead role
Ability to work within, teach, and improve multiple software development lifecycle processes
Demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams
