This particular role is for a Project Procurement Manager
The duties and responsibilities of the Project Procurement Manager shall include but not be limited to, the following:
Responsible for the control of the Supply Management personnel assigned to a project. Delegation of authority and responsibility to these personnel to ensure that the work is carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
Providing support, advice and guidance to own and project team members.
Establishment of an overall supply strategy and plan for a project in co-operation with General Manager, Supply Management and Project Manager and ensure that this plan is implemented.
Establishment of General and Special Conditions of Purchase in close co-operation with Project and Legal teams.
Issuing enquiries and carrying out commercial evaluation of bids in co-operation with other Sales / Project team members.
Establishment of the approved list of Suppliers for Projects.
Establishment of negotiating strategy and lead commercial negotiations with Suppliers.
Reviewing and recommending Supplier selection and commercial bid evaluation sheets.
Issuing purchase orders and purchase order amendments within agreed financial limits.
Development and execution of strategy / action plan regarding the settlement of Supplier's claims and back-charges.
Managing close contact with Client on all matters relating to supply.
Preparing and issuing periodic status and progress reports and feedback of a project covering the work carried out by the Supply Management.
Carrying out pre-qualifications, approvals and evaluations of Suppliers.
Negotiation and preparation of frame / project agreements.
Invoice processing according to agreed authority matrix and procedures.
Job requirements Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Good negotiation and business skills.
Knowledge of products and technologies and supply processes of respective businesses.
Good communication skills and ability to build a strong relationship with internal and external partners.
Knowledge of IT tools and systems.
xperience:
Extensive years experience in project supply tasks in related business would be advantageous but not essential.
