Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager
Industry: Aircraft/Aerospace
Location: Lancashire
Salary: £38000 - £44000 per annum + benefits
Lead and project manage the delivery of the project to cost, timescale, quality and business plan requirements.
Project Accountability's:
Ensure the project related activities and milestones/deliverables and functional dependencies are identified in the appropriate schedule in the programme suite.
Support the programme manager in general management duties on the project
Ensure that any project related risks and opportunities are identified and logged and that mitigation/realisation and contingency plans are developed and implemented as appropriate
Involvement in the procurement in the supplier management of the sub contractor base
Produce and present status updates
Customer/Stakeholder management
Qualifications/Experience
Degree level qualified
Project Management Knowledge level - APMP Qualified
Knowledge of multiple phases of the project life cycle
Knowledge of financial management and reporting
Experience working on jet air crafts and for the MOD would be an advantage
