We are a specialist recruitment agency and we are currently recruiting for our Southampton based client for a Process Engineer.
Process Engineer
The Process Engineer will carry out engineering design tasks under the supervision of more senior engineering staff within the group and develop his/her own experience and knowledge generally, in the technical area of company operations.
The role & responsibilities of a Process Engineer may include but not be limited to the following:-·
You will develop your knowledge in the technology both internally and with reference to the interface with all other groups
Prepare & develop Process deliverables to a high technical standard
Equipment Lists
Process Flow Diagrams
Process Design Criteria
Equipment Process Data Sheets
Process Descriptions
Engineering Flow Diagrams (P&ID's)
Utility Flow Diagrams
Instrument Process Data
Relief Dossiers
Line Lists
Interlock Descriptions or Matrix
Operating Manuals
Engineering calculations
You will undertake the commitment to become familiar with the principals of safe process design and to understand and work with the principals of PEM
Check detailed drawings produced on the project and from vendors
Prepare engineering calculations under supervision
Prepare specifications under supervision
Assist with the preparation of deliverables for submission to authorities
Give process input to proposals as a team member
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: ·
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
A couple of years of relevant experience with an engineering company or operating company
Other Requirements:Mobility required for business trips across Europe and internationally and occasional short term assignments
