Job Location: Europe > United Kingdom > Wiltshire   Job Description Parts Ordering Professional Swindon, Wiltshire, South West Salary guidelines range £22-34,000 depending on experience We are a specialist recruitment agency and we are looking for an experienced professional to work within Parts Ordering Systems area, part of logistic planning. The Department - Logistics Planning is responsible for the development of short & long term logistics strategy including: Inbound Supply, Warehousing Operations, Lineside Supply Methods and also responsibility for Supplier Parts Ordering. Key Roles & Responsibilities Development of improved parts ordering procedure Provision of full support to the development and testing of a new parts ordering system Coordination of the introduction and implementation of the system including: o Internal training o Supplier changeover to the new system Qualifications Degree level or equivalent preferably in a business or system related discipline Experience Knowledge of generic production planning and parts ordering processes and principles Understanding of process mapping and systems development Previous responsibility for complex material planning, parts ordering or parts control operations, ideally within an automotive related flow line manufacturing organisation would be advantageous Additional Requirements Ability to deal with suppliers and other departments (negotiation and communication skills) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to plan, coordinate and take responsibility for effective and on time completion of project activities Flexible approach to job responsibilities Proficient in the main MS Office applications, especially Excel Self motivated and the ability to self manage Plesae sent us a copy of your CV with details of the role you are looking for if this doesn't meet your skills and expertise - or visit our website colbernlimited co uk.
