Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Halal butcher. The applicant must have 3 to 4 years supervisory experience at NVQ level 3 or equivalent. The job description are as follows.
To slaughter the animal according to Islamic principles.
To remove the skin and gut.
To prepare meat according to the customers demand.
To prepare mince.
To cut large meat pieces into small pieces.
To know basic butcher terminology.
To receive deliveries.
Inspection of meat, record temperatures in log book.
Train junior staff.
To maintain hygienic conditions.
Negotiation with suppliers.
Cope in the Festival season, i.e Eid
Qualifications/Skills
Required
Must have 3 to 4 years supervisory experience at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Must be able to slaughter the animal in accordance with Islamic principles.
