Salary guideline package depending on experience £24,000 plus four shift allowance.

We are a specialist recruitment agency and we are currently looking for an Maintenance Engineer/Multi Skilled Engineer/ Mechanical or Electrical Engineerfor their Press Department experiences Swindon, Wiltshire, South West.
Maintenance Engineer/Multi Skilled Engineer/ Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
4 Shift patterns
KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day to day die repairs to ensure quality and delivery levels are maintained
- Carrying out routine maintenance (PM s), panel quality improvements and die improvements to reduce FPC/WFT result
- Assist in smooth introduction of future new model press dies
EXPERIENCE:
- Time served apprenticeship in press die making and die maintenance
- Qualified to City & Guilds and/or NVQ Level 3 or OND/ONC
- Ability to do basic machining (lathe, milling, surface grinding)
- ARC and TIG welding experience
- Ability to read Press Tool drawings
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Good communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
- The ability to use own initiative and meet specified deadlines
- Basic Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
- A flexible approach to work
