Job Description
A specialist Cheshire based tour operator seeks an energetic individual with a passion and enthusiasm to inspire and lead a team and take the business to the next level. The individual must possess hunger and innovation, ambition and dedication and the ability to drive success. This is a newly created role within an established and successful company in the long haul luxury market.
This role will involve:
- The day to day operational management and business development of a team of Reservation Consultants
- Closely monitoring sales statistics, recommending key sales opportunities to further generate sales and revenue
- Managing financial data, ensuring budgets are not exceeded
- Developing the business in new sectors
- Researching and assessing the viability of new projects and ideas
- Adding commercial input into strategic planning of the business
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experienced manager with proven commercial, people and change management/project skills and experience.
- A proven track record of success in tour operating, preferably within the luxury travel sector
- Highly numerate with experience of commercial / financial planning
- A self starter who can lead by example
