St Albans: not sure what to get her for christmas?
alright im buying all of my best friends presents for christmas, now that I have a job I can buy them really good stuff. well my good friend whos a girl and i happen to like alot more then just friends (she already knows this) is getting me something, and of course i'm getting her something as well. thing is I have no idea what to get her, I want to get her something meaningful but shes not much a jewlery person and I don't want to get hr chocolate because it's way to cliche, I want to get her something meaningful without it being to cliche or expensive, does anyone have any ideas?...

St Albans: follow up email for interview?
my friends mother works at a major company called vwr international well they just had an open house 2 weeks ago and 2 ladies interviewed me, i sent them both personalized thank you letters as well as the HR manager who set up the open house. The next day he sent me an email stating to call him for a phone interview, i called him about 3 hours after him sending it, this was last monday that i sent the letter and tuesday that i called him, he didnt pick up so i left a voice mail of course. i was going to call again the next day but my friends mother said that the office would be closed until monday(today) so i called and once again no pick up i left another voicemail, i want to send a email ...

Can anyone tell me where I can find a customer service job asap? My job just cut hours to less than half. I'd be willing to work a night job after 11pm or a early morning job that starts at 4 or 5am like a 24 hr Wal-Mart. Also, has anyone worked or is currently working for a Wal-Mart, Target or etc. and knows that they are hiring like right now? I am currently collecting unemployment here in ohio. In aug i had started a job with a company that lasted until oct 8 all this year.
I was found by this company on monster.They asked if I would come in for an interview for a position they have open. I went in and met with Hr,and the supervisor about the job. I had explained to them that my wife is 9m pregnant and I would need to take her on her weekly visits which are on fridays so I would need to leave alittle early becuase the dr offices aren't open on weekends or we would go then.

I am looking for a change of career, and have an interview coming up which would suit perfectly. I know the manager relatively well, and we get along pretty good. However, the interview will be conducted by 2 additional people I don't know well or at all.
