Southend: where can I find decent hostel's within Basildon, UK? I want to stay there without travel?
I'm looking to vacation in Basildon, and I'm looking into hostel's. I know someone there that I'd like to visit (but not impose on by staying with). I don't want to have to commute to get there (at least not far) so any help would be wonderful. My own searches have come up fruitless, showing me only hotels and the only hostel I could find was for southend-on-the-sea or something. -.-

Can anyone recommend a decent roofing firm (that will call back/turn up for appointment) in the Southend, Essex area? I need testimonials, please. Lots of repairs to do on my 30s house.

Southend: Calling all LEYTON ORIENT FANS!!! Why are some of you against moving into the Olympic Stadium after the games?
Listen...
The club will be financially better off moving into the stadium!
It will get more of a following... MAKING IT MORE ATTRACTIVE!
And the stadium will be all bought and paid for by the local London Authority!
Hopefully they'll get rid of the running track as well!
I may be a Southend fan, but if I was in your position... I'd snap it up like a shot! As delboy once said!!!

Southend: Why is Margate so rubbish nowadays?
I went today....everything was shut and the place looked like a dump! I went years ago and had the best time ever in Dreamland Amusment park...But its all shut now! WHY? lol! Went there for a nice day out and ended up staying for less then an hour! Southend is far better and thats something I never thought I would say!
