Southend: Why does the MAINSTREAM MEDIA pretend Marc Rich is the worst offense by Eric Holder instead of FALN terrorists?
These terrorists didn't even file an application for clemency, and yet ERIC HOLDER filed one on their behalf.
The group conducted a violent campaign with more than 100 bombings and other incidents from 1974 to 1983 in New York and Chicago. The attacks left six dead and roughly 70 injured.
These terrorists threatened to murder the judge who presided over their case.
These terrorists refused to express any remorse for their acts, even in light of the clemency granted them.
What amount of poor judgement would be considered substantial enough to disqualify someone from a job like Attorney General?

Southend: DURHAM - is the justice system correct?
I am currently studying a media course and this unit includes producing an (as) live tv debate show. I've chosen to debate the question Are the police doing their job, and is the justice system fair?
Who should I contact to get in to talk about such issues? I was thinking about someone from the Durham and Darlo justie board, a police officer from Durham or Sunderland, but then I need somebody
who feels the police can do so much more for the community, and that the justice system isn't just at all.
So! Any ideas? Could include both professionals or everyday people, generally anybody who has a story to tell.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!... 23 Nov 08, 01:11:42
Southend: I have a job interview coming up...advice please?
Can you give me some advice for an upcoming interview?
I need to prepare for it. I have already researched the company, rehearsed a few commonly asked questions, ran through the job description and requirements..
However, usually, when I'm at the interview, I get so nervous that I forget what to say.. or I start to stutter.
How do I prepare myself mentally and emotionally?
Have you got any rehearsing techniques... i.e. so that I can remember all my answers? How to think faster and on the spot?

HOW WOULD YOU SUMMARIZE THIS?
WASHINGTON — President-elect Obama has pulled off a feat of daring and difficult diplomacy - - clearing the way to invite ex-rival Hillary Clinton into his cabinet as secretary of state, Democratic sources said last night.
Obama is planning to formally an- might be slipping away, sources said.

Southend: Can't even get a part time job without Maths GCSE?
I failed my Maths GCSE in 2007 (I got an E). I've since applied for several part time jobs whilst I'm at college but haven't been successful in getting any. I blame this on not having a C in Maths GCSE. I have a job at the moment but absolutely hate it and am looking elsewhere just to earn money until I finish my course at college. Last year I attended a re-sit class but gave up on it. Not having the qualification is frustrating because if I can't even get a dead end job just to get some money, then I'm pretty screwed.
My question is, should I attempt another re-sit (or take a test to earn an equivalent to at least a C in Maths), or should I just keep applying for... 22 Nov 08, 04:11:27
Southend: How do soldiers stay motivated?
If your homeland economy is in the tank, you don't know if you will keep getting your pay for fighting in the war.
Your family back home has forgotten about you.
Your wife has divorced you and found someone else because you never get to go home and see her.
All of your friends back home have great jobs and are buying houses, cars, boats, and living the good life, while you have to sleep in the sand in a tent and get shot at all the time.
The people back home don't support you. The media constantly tells you the war is pointless. You see innocent women and children die every day for no reason at all.
How do I stay motivated?... 22 Nov 08, 02:11:22
Southend: Why are CEOs and Executives so stupid?
After receiving federal bailout money, (our taxes) AIG executives went on a 'business retreat' that involved golf outings, 5-star restaurants, 5-star hotels and spa treatments. After the media found out they had a field day, so what did AIG do? THEY DID IT A SECOND TIME. And they used the money (our taxes) to do all this - not only once, but twice.
The Big three auto companies Ford, Chrysler and GM went to D.C. to beg for federal funding to save thousands upon thousands of jobs. They showed up in a private jet...each of them had their own. A private jet trip from Detroit to D.C. costs approx. $20,000. Why were they spending that kind of money if they are looking for government a... 22 Nov 08, 06:11:08
Southend: Is Barack Obama the most controversial President in American history?
I mean he hasn't set foot in the White House as President yet and already there are many questions surrounding this man, his background, his motives, his status as a citizen of the United States, his religious proclivities, his friends, how come the media didn't do their job in vetting this man?... 21 Nov 08, 11:11:35
