Southend: Cell phones and 12 year olds?
My sister has had a phone since she was 11. She is now a few weeks away from turning 13. She has a nice samsung slider in(lime green) her favorite color. Some parents have such a strong hold on their kids. My parents do a great job raising us. None of us are all crazy and wild. We are normal teens. Who go places and need phones. My youngest sister the one who is about to turn 13 is paranoid about getting kid napped. So if she doesnt have her phone she goes crazy. So how attached are your kids to their phones. Or why wont you let them have one?...

Southend: Onn the sims 2 double deluxe, how come my teens can't buy clothes?
My teen has a job and I want to change her outfit, but I go to buy something from the one of the clothing stores but it says I have no money yet I can buy other things that aren't clothing.... Why?
How can I get my teen and other children new clothes?

Southend: Idea for first teen job?
Okay, so I', 15 years old, and I turn 16 next August. I want to get my first job this summer, but I don't know what to do. My personality is a little mixed....I'm usually a little shy of seeing somebody I might see from school at a place, because I'm a jock , and a lot of people make fun of me, and I've learned to ignore it for the most part. Southend: Any ideas on how a teen can get/raise money for christmas gifts?
just some things to add:
-i dont get allowence
- last year went i saved up for my new bike (350$) i sold almost every thing i dindn't need.
- my parents are kinda tight on money tight.
-i dont got a job
-i dont get money for work arrond the house
-went i do baby sitting for my brothers, it's for free....

does anyone know of any stores or restaurants hiring someone in the age group 14-15? this is for a friend's sister, and it would be helpful if was located in the east end of toronto. please no mowing the lawn , babysitting or dog walking things. and no community center stuff either. so any jobs? and what would be the pay expected?...

i've been lookking for a job it seems like FOREVERRRR im 16 and so far the only job i've had is i worked the election polls for 14 hours straight and made around 10 bucks an hour which wasd pretty good =] , i hear sams club pays 20 bucks an hour but they didnt hire me!! =[ then reff's do too but you have to take classes that cost 50 bucks so im going to do that in the sumer.... if you guys dont mind telling me what jobs(teen jobs) you had/have and how much you make around and if you recomend it or not?...

Southend: Can teens have their own bank account without parents?
Ok i'm 16 years old and i have my first job. My mother is not a trustworthy person with money and informed me that her bank told her to take me in so they could put me on her account. I told her i wanted my own account and she said well you have to take me with you anyway. I just dont want her having access to my money because i know she would take it. So i need to know if i can have my own account without her having access to it or having to know anything about it to get into it....

Southend: Is it weird to major in Psychology, and minor in Journalism?
Right now, I'm a sophmore in college and my major is Psychology. I am really interested in Journalism, and want to minor in it. Is that a weird combonation? What kinds of jobs can I get as a Psychology major/Journalism major? Could I write an advice column for a teen magazine or something?

Southend: Depressed...no friends, only a bf.......?
i have recently lost a lot of my ' friends ....they turned against me because of jealousy, they were immature....now i only have two ppl that i can call friends, but i never get to hang with them....my girl friend is always busy and she has other friends that she hangs with, so we're not as close any more....and my guy friend works a lot, but he's usually available to hang with me...but if i hang with my guy friend(who is gay), my boyfriend gets pissed off...so i just don't do it...i'm just miserable....i have no car now, and no job( no one will hire me)...i've been having the worst luck...i feel like i'm gonna go crazy because i never get to go a...
