okay so there is an online job advertisement for a waitress at a retirement home near me, that i really want to apply for. but the ad only said call the retirement home and ask for so and so to set up an interview.
what do i say when i call? eeek! i get terribly nervous.... :S
my plan so far is something like:

Southend: Is it too late to go to university or college at 40?
I am 40, new immigrant, single, and want to study at uni or college full time in order to make a better life. When I finish my school, is it going to be very hard to find a job, considering my age?
Back home I was a sales representative and, later, a journalist. Here I work as a retail store manager.
What can be good choice, something that is in demand, with a good pay... and I have to figure out what I would like to study. I am people person, but wouldn`t mind working alone for some period of day.

Southend: how can I be more responsible?
I'm 23 years old. I dont know how to discribe my issue in one word so here it is. I work and study at the same time. I hate having to apply for leave. I just dont show up for work and I call in for leave, wereas I have to apply for leave on the system. I know ahead I have to do it but I keep putting it off and never do it. I never sign in my attandance I sign when I get scolded till then I put it off. In college I keep putting off buying my own text books can you believe it? Why do I do this? Southend: What to do about my mom's spending habits?
She is spending her elderly father's money (she has power of attorney over him) to buy things for herself. She has bought 10 rings recently of the same kind but different stone which I know was about $1,500 total. She buys $100-$200 worth of Avon makeup on a regular basis. She buys new things for the house that add up to thousands of dollars, When she buys stuff she'll buy multiples of the exact same thing (between 5 and 20 of the same thing), even if she has 10 of the same thing at home already. She spent a few hundred dollars on new bathroom items the other night. She lives with her dad and takes care of him and she does not have a job or anything, she just spends his money...

Ok Bear with me please people. me and my girlfriend were sitting down remembering old movies. and one came into my head that i just cannot remember. But i do remember some parts of it.

Southend: Husband had an affair with a more attractive woman :(?
My husband and I have been married for a year and a half. He is 29 and I am 23. Not to be conceited (I am not in any way) but we are two very attractive people. We just had a baby in August, He got a new, great job and things were really looking up for us. Also to mention, that when my husband and I were just boyfriend and girlfriend I cheated on him with someone we both knew on 4 separate occasions, but we still were able to get past that and get married.
