Solihull: Advertising/Marketing or Music Industry? ADVICE!?
I'm planning on tranferring to University of Texas-San Antonio and major in Music Marketing, but I'm starting to have second thoughts. I would love to work for the music industry... but i'm not so sure I could make a decent living pursuing that dream. Another side of me is very interested in advertising, due to the creativity and, let's face it, a possibly steadier job income. To be honest, I don't know many people in either industry, what it's like to work for either, or salary. So anyone who has had experience working for an advertising agency or music/radio/marketing industry-- I would REALLY appreciate some information. Just things like what did you do at yo...

Solihull: Dream interpretation of being pregnant with triplets?
In the last couple of weeks I've been dreaming of being pregnant. In the first dream, I was going to have one child, everyone asked if I wanted it/wanted to keep it but I kept saying I wasn't sure because deep down I didn't want a child. The second dream I had was about me being pregnant with three babies. Same kind of scenario. And no, I'm not and haven't been sexually active for almost a year, so it's not possible I am really pregnant. I have had a very hard hear of heartbreak, health issues, getting things going in my music career, living in my car, losing jobs, etc. It's been really tough in all aspects. What are your interpretations?...

Solihull: Should I look into Music Business?
I'm in high school but my only interest in school is music. However I don't think I would like to become a music teacher. I heard of music business majors but i don't know what those involve. Can someone explain to me everything they know about the program, jobs, how easily it is to get into and what colleges you can go to with a 4.0 GPA...

Solihull: What should I do about the father. He can't grow up!!?
So I've been with my baby's father for about year when we found out I was pregnant. Since we've discovered this he has done nothing to show that he is ready to be a father and its really turning me away from him. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and he has not bought 1 thing for our baby, or even helped me pay for anything. He doesnt have a job, and didnt have one before I was pregnant either. whenever he gets money he spends it on himself, with music or beer. The other week we went to the mall and babies r us, and he doesnt even hold the door open for me, and i had to carry the basket full of stuff... he didnt even offer to take it. Later that night I kinda yelled at him a little b...

Solihull: Hilarious Friends Christmas fan-script! Please read!?
Friends: The One With The Christmas Party Opening Credits: Fade In: Int. Central Perk- Noon We see the five friends sitting on the orange couch drinking coffee and talking with one another. Chandler, Joey, Phoebe and Rachel are together on the couch, while Monica is sitting in one of the chairs. They all seem to be excited about the fact that it's Christmas Eve, and the whole place has been set up for the holidays. There is a medium-sized Christmas tree in the corner by the window, as well as colored-lights hanging on the entrance/window along with various decorations. It seems that the place is pretty busy today, with costumers coming in and out and ordering coffees and e...

Solihull: Can you tell me what you think of my admissions essay (F.I.T.)?
Julia Kim F.I.T. Admissions Essay I am Julia Kim, a small pigment of talent. I was born within a family line of artists consisting of a fashion designer, abstract painter, graphic designer, and an interior designer. I had always been a creative person even back when I was in grade school. I was that little girl who would sit in class and just draw things here and there all day long, and get in trouble for it. I was the girl who looked forward to school projects which involved making a model of something, or creating a poster, or carving pumpkins, or making a diorama of dinosaurs. I don’t remember the last time I ever bought a birthday card because I was always happy to make my ow...

Solihull: Animated Japanese Music Video?
Saw it on youtube back in 2005, but cannot for the life of me remember the name of the song or artist. The video is animated in black and white, and depicts a man getting fed up with his job and kind of going nuts all around town. He ends up on a beach, exhausted, and plays Russian roulette. The music sounds similar to the Pillows but I am reasonably sure it is not one of their songs. Any ideas?...

Solihull: Anyone who has seen Twilight?
did you like it? i was dissapointed. BTW: do not answer this question if you haven't read the books. so, let me just say that if i was not an avid fan of the books and had not read each of them at least 4 times, i would have LOVED the movie. however, i am an avid fan and i have read each book at least 4 times. i was dissapointed by the movie, which i expected. something as great as the books can never be translated onto film and be as spectacular (exception: lord of the rings). i was sad that: 1 - they did not spend any time developing emmett as the big brother to bella, let alone developing any of the other cullens (i.e. how big of a struggle it is for ...

Solihull: Staying Resilient in sad situations?
I like to feel positive... I'm stuck staying at a house with a lot of negativity... constant arguing. The mom and dad argue, and they also way over-parent their two young daughters (10 and 13 I think?) I avoid it by listening to music. I know it's out there though and it upsets me. I don't feel like the children should be constantly monitored or controlled. I'm also looking for a job at the same time.. I am dealing with depression as well. I get in super depressed moods where things are dark and everyone seems messed up. Like I feel there isn't a sane person in the world... that everyone is unhappy. Any advice? I try to get out to meetup...
