Sheffield: I recently discovered I might be a narcissist...?
So after a period of upheaval in my life I decided to kind of sit back and examine my life and myself and make some changes in doing this, I think I have discovered that I’m a narcissist. If you are a doctor or have a similar problem please help me out/give me your advice. If not, don’t answer.
First of all. I’m a good person, I could never hurt anyone, even tho I have serious problems empathizing and have for as long as I can remember, and also have the ability to justify any action to myself as right. (I recently stole a large amount of money from an employer, I did this in a way that although they knew i had done it, they could not do anything about it, and I managed to complete... 23 Nov 08, 01:11:59

Sheffield: If science can't even disprove the existence of unicorns, how can it disprove the existence of God? ?
I often hear the comment, Science has proved there is no God. Don't ever be bullied by such a statement. Science is completely incapable of proving such a thing.
I'm not saying that because I don't like science, but rather because I know a little about how science works. Science operates on induction. The inductive method entails searching out things in the world and drawing generalized conclusions about those things based on observation. Scientists can only draw conclusions on what they find, not on what they can't find.
Science, by its very nature, is never capable of proving the non-existence of anything.
For example, can science prove there are no... 23 Nov 08, 10:11:41
Sheffield: I want to forfeit my car in the state of NY. I still have a balance on it. Is there anyway to do so?
Or do I have to file for bankruptsy? I had a really good paying job, and like a dumbass and not thinking, me and my fiance bought 2 cars. A SUV for work and a car to get us around. The trade in value of the cars are lower than the amount we have to pay off. Example, trade in value for our Mustang is 13k we still owe 20k on it. Is there any way to surrunder? We live in NY. I know state laws vary greatly, but we just don't know what to do anymore. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!... 23 Nov 08, 08:11:40
Sheffield: This question is geared toward the opponents of gay marriage. Why do you think gay marriage is wrong?
This issue has been going on for the longest time. But frankly, it has really hit a high note ever since the vote to pass Proposition 8 in California passed. I've browsed Answers and time and again, I see gays saying over and over, We're not hurting anyone! or Stop the hate! . So many words get lobbed back and forth and it doesn't seem to end. So I'm going to give you a list of just why gay marriage is wrong and why it should be kept illegal and/or unrecognized by the US government. This pretty much sums it up for why gay marriage is wrong. If this doesn't open some eyes, I don't know what will:
1. Homosexuals are seeking a SPECIAL righ... 23 Nov 08, 07:11:34
Sheffield: MBA with a Criminal Record?
Hi! I am a computer science major and am thinking of applying for an MBA to change careers and aim for the big bucks. I have pretty good scores/gpa etc and hence would probably get an admission. However, about 5 years back while I was a stupid guy recently out of college, I ended up getting charged for performing some lewd acts in public while partying with some of my drunken crazy pals during a weekend. This was a misdemeanor offense and the charge was subsequently sealed (not expunged) by the judge since this was my only brush with the law. Even though the record is sealed from private employers and companies, it would still be accessible by many government and licensing/regulatory agencie... 23 Nov 08, 06:11:22
Sheffield: Demand Justice for Karley the puppy?
Johnson remains un-arrested, in his Riverside County home on paid administrative leave while the brutal beating of his neighbor's 6-month-old puppy, Karley - which resulted in a crushed skull, dislocated eye, broken jaw, and broken nose - is being investigated.
The puppy had to be euthanized because of the degree of her suffering and the fact that she sustained permanent brain damage.
Johnson admitted to the horrific crime which occurred on Monday, November 3, 2008 but is claiming he acted in self-defense. He placed his hands inside Karley's mouth to break her jaw and nose, in addition to crushing her skull via repeated blows to the head with an 11-inch rock. The pu... 23 Nov 08, 06:11:14
