thats how ive been all my life because of the way lifes treated me , im very distrustful , wary of people in general. all the relationships ive ever had in life have been one sided ' unrequited friendships '.
the only happy time in my life was when i was a young kid and young adolescent where i had lots of friends and life was secure and happy..
but since then my life, sadly has been a nightmare , took a hellish turn , ive suffered victimization, bullying, street attacks , head injuries
( which i caused because i lost control of rage and went berserk in the street shouting obscenities and attacking everyone )

Sheffield: Doing MUCH more than I signed up for at my job, boss rejected my raise, I'm ready to do what I was hired for?
Without getting lengthy, here is what is going on:
When I was hired at my job, it was very specific what I was going to do in my contract. My boss has the ability to waive a certain amount of my responsibilities in order to assist him in a time of need. Well, after only a month on the job, I started basically doing his job (or at least half of it), because we had a lot of business. I was doing my job and then some (make that a lot). I found myself answering e-mails and taking calls LATE at night...and probably being available 16 hours/day. Sheffield: Marketing internship in Sonoma County?
I am a senior at Sonoma State in Rohnert Park, CA. I am a marketing major, looking for an internship for Spring 2009. Would my best bet be to just search for companies in the area, and email them my resume? Or should i only apply where I know internships are available?

Sheffield: My first job: Am I not looking in the right places?
Is finding work truly as difficult as it seems? While I have not sent in as many job applications as I could have, I know that I have sent out more than enough that I should have gotten a reply back by now.
I am 18 years old, in college (with a very unfriendly schedule this semester, but I still have weekends available), and have not been able to find a job for the past 5 months. I live alone and I don't know many people in the town I live in. I've been in the city's local fire explorer program for the last 6 months. I even went to academy just last week and got my Fire Control 3 certificate.

this question is for people who live in england because it may be different in other countries. but you can still answer if not.
i have loads of cv's that i am planning to hand out places tomorrow because i need a job desperately.
i need to add some critical info to them (that i am now available all hours) but i don't have time to print more.
is it acceptable to write this on my cv's or will the managers or whoever will look at them, find this unprofessional or unacceptable.
