Scarborough: Poll:Which conspiracy theorists are worse?
The ones who believe that 9/11 was an inside job, or the ones who believe that Obama is not an American citizen?
I think these people have something seriously wrong with brains
I mean are these people seriously that ridiculous?
It scares me that these people have jobs and contribute to society,or maybe they don't have jobs and just sit in their parents' basements spewing this crap on the internet.
About 9/11,all I can say is that it was not an inside job.I don't think the government hates it's people that much or is out to get us that much. It's a really stupid thing to say
About Obama,he is an American citizen. He was born in Hawaii, and he showed his bi... 22 Nov 08, 09:11:56
Scarborough: Can't even get a part time job without Maths GCSE?
I failed my Maths GCSE in 2007 (I got an E). I've since applied for several part time jobs whilst I'm at college but haven't been successful in getting any. I blame this on not having a C in Maths GCSE. I have a job at the moment but absolutely hate it and am looking elsewhere just to earn money until I finish my course at college. Last year I attended a re-sit class but gave up on it. Not having the qualification is frustrating because if I can't even get a dead end job just to get some money, then I'm pretty screwed.
My question is, should I attempt another re-sit (or take a test to earn an equivalent to at least a C in Maths), or should I just keep applying for... 22 Nov 08, 04:11:27
Scarborough: How do soldiers stay motivated?
If your homeland economy is in the tank, you don't know if you will keep getting your pay for fighting in the war.
Your family back home has forgotten about you.
Your wife has divorced you and found someone else because you never get to go home and see her.
All of your friends back home have great jobs and are buying houses, cars, boats, and living the good life, while you have to sleep in the sand in a tent and get shot at all the time.
The people back home don't support you. The media constantly tells you the war is pointless. You see innocent women and children die every day for no reason at all.
How do I stay motivated?... 22 Nov 08, 02:11:22
Scarborough: Is Barack Obama the most controversial President in American history?
I mean he hasn't set foot in the White House as President yet and already there are many questions surrounding this man, his background, his motives, his status as a citizen of the United States, his religious proclivities, his friends, how come the media didn't do their job in vetting this man?... 21 Nov 08, 11:11:35
Scarborough: Are we seeing the end of Free Trade and Globalization?
Globalization IS NOT NEW it occurred many times in the history of the world and it always ended. The longest it lasted was the 70-80 years before the Napoleonic Wars. Globalization occurred after World War I and before the depression. It has always ended and it will end again soon.
When a politician like McCain gets up in Detroit and says their jobs are not coming back and they would be able to find new jobs that Free Trade is going to provide they seem ridiculously out of touch. Reagen did this in Pittsburgh when the Steel Industry collapsed and most people agreed with him back then.
Development of the third world was only possible through the easy movement of capital and ... 21 Nov 08, 06:11:17
Scarborough: I am Absolutely stymied in my life i need help ive been unemployed for 2 years and have no high school diploma?
I need help im really smart well read I have gone to junior college and found out it was pretty much bs unless you wanna spend ton of cash and sacrifice mass hours of time to hopefully maybe get work. Yes that's my problem I have always seen through the crap im very smart what can I say I have worked at low paying jobs because of their ease and enjoyment. At times I have worked carp jobs but not always. Its kinda caught up to me I have no work experience besides basic maintenance I understand fully the key to wealth yet their is zero possibility of me achieving it without winning the lottery. College allows you to possibly get a high paying job which will suck about 12 hours a day of wo... 21 Nov 08, 12:11:40
Scarborough: How do I find a job in Jordan?
I would like to spend some time living and working in Jordan, preferably Amman. I think I'd like to teach English as a second language there. I am having difficulty finding reliable job postings. Does anybody know of some good resources?
I am a 30-year-old male with a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies. I have 5+ years experience working as a newspaper reporter/editor and worked in the entertainment industry as such also. Would these qualifications be sufficient to land a fair-paying job?
Thank you all!... 21 Nov 08, 04:11:02
Scarborough: What are the correct band fonts?
I'm at college doing a media project which involves producing an album cover of a signed artist. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could find the logo font for Gojira (not the font used on The Link). And if not any of the following bands:
Lamb Of God
The Black Dahlia Murder
Carcass
Job For a Cowboy
Nile
Tool.
If i could get a reference for all of these band it would be much appreciated as the next task is to create a promotional poster for a concert. Hope to hear from you all soon.
Thanks
Lee R
Also they dont have to be exact. So all you designers who are stuck up about your jobs don't waste your time by lecturing me. Besides i've found the Lamb of G... 21 Nov 08, 02:11:51
Scarborough: What office controls soldiers receiving BAH?
My husband and I got married THREE months ago and we STILL have not gotten BAH. I am so pissed off about this, because my husband is having to pay rent out of his pay which makes him pretty much completely broke and living off Ramen while I look for a job. I want to call whoever controls the BAH thing, and talk to them but I cannot find it on the pao.hood.army.mil site. I bet if I threaten to go to the media (I don't think I would actually) they would give us BAH pretty damn quick.
I thought the Finance office was just MyPay type stuff....they don't actually control BAH I don't think...and to the second answer.....my husband already submitted everything he needs to get BAH....... 20 Nov 08, 10:11:46
