Scarborough: Is it inappropriate to make an employer wait for your decision?
I just had an interview with a company I REALLY want to work for. But I have another interview later today. I'm afraid that the second company is going to offer me the job but I'd like to wait and see what happens with the first company before I can accept anything. Is it inappropriate to tell the second employer that I'm waiting to hear from someone else? How can I word it that I would like to wait to tell them if I want the job until I hear from the other company? The first company said that they would let me know on Monday or Tuesday, and my interview with the second company is today....

I've been on TONS of interviews in the last month. They always tell me that they've found someone more qualified, but this one I have on Tuesday is a GREAT job for me, and I KNOW I'm OVER-qualified for it. Can someone give me some tips?
