I want to get an economics degree for sure, but I thought about double majoring in finance or accounting just to make sure I have a definite job in the future....

Scarborough: Should a job that takes a few weeks to learn pay as much as one requiring 6 years college?
If your answer is yes, then why would anyone be motivated to train for highly skilled jobs that our society needs?
If we lose our motivation to become educated, what happens to our technology and sciences? What happens if you need a highly skilled surgeon?
Our House Finance Committee Chair and most outspoken socialist, Barney Frank, said this week that these jobs should pay the same, and this is his stand, considering that he is highly paid by the UAW.
Actually, Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard a month before he was supposed to graduate, he did not just go to school one semester.

From my own personal experiences I think they should NOT be bailed out. Who's bailing me out and giving me a new job? I got laid off in the construction industry recently and got behind on my truck payments, even part time night job wasn't enough to save my truck from being repossessed. I bought the truck for $25,000 for a six year loan put $10,000 down to make sure I'd pay it off sooner and have smaller payments, I had 2 years left to pay it off and was only 2 payments behind. General Motors/ Chevrolet repossessed my truck in the night and took it to a place 300 miles a way and sold it in one week for like $3,000 at an auto auction and didn't even try to work out a deal ...

Ok trying to make this sweet and simple... Basically when I was 18. I ignored my Grandpa and got a credit card, got screwed (department store) left for the Military Active duty, came back home in reserves paid it off after almost a 2 years of not paying it (figured it would just go away lol...not)... Now my credit sucks, But...
I now have a job making 40K a year as a Computer Tech for a corporation that is contracted with the Army. Serve in the Reserves, and work on call for an in house computer service , so im making fair amounts of money. Scarborough: Is Michael Vick broke?
Let's assume Roger Goodell is not going to reinstate Michael Vick. Does that mean he'll be broke? If he is, then where would he find a job? I don't believe he received his degree during his time at virginia tech because he entered himself in the NFL Draft before graduation.

FInances, education, job, and the component are functional, but I'm not the best person. I don't depend/expect one person to make me happy, but I have few, *good* friends. I can be very warm but I can be plain cold n/ cruel sometimes. I have lots of bedtime needs.
...that and through hs and college, i don't think i've ever been in a real relationship where I thought these things (mostly just hanging out, making out, etc.)...

Scarborough: I'm being flown out by a company for a face to face interview. What should I expect?
I live in Iowa and had an initial phone interview with JBS, a world leader in the meat processing and packaging industry, that is located in Colorado. The day after my phone interview they called and wanted me to fly out for a face to face interview with about 6 different supervisors/managers the following week. I was just curious to what the interview process consists of and what kinds of questions I should anticipate answering. Also, what would you say my chances are they are planning on offering me the job if they are willing to front all these expenses? This is an entry level position in their finance leadership program. Any help or info about experience with this situation would be awes...
