Scarborough: Why do some Christians look at the bible literally and others not literally?
If its God's word. I'm sure the guy meant what he said, so why do some people try and defend Christianity and the bible by saying not to read it literally?
And to Christians who do read the bible literally, do you actually believe:
-Noah lived to 950 years of age
-Jesus came back to life after death
-Talking snakes in a perfect garden
-A woman being born of a man's rib (for all you feminists)
-Jesus being born to a virgin
-The earth being made in 7 days
-The earth being only 10,000 years old
-Moses parting an entire stretch of sea
-Noah being able to gather every known animal on the planet(millions)
-Jonah being eaten by a whale and living inside of it...

Scarborough: My family is full of losers. What do you think I should do?
Sorry for writing so much, I tend to get carried away when I write.
I'm 17 and a guy. I'm turning 18 in May and once I do, I'm going to start working to move out of my house. I can't stand my family. My honest opinion of them is that they are losers. Nobody has any hobbies and they sit around complaining all the time. Both of my parents dropped out of high school when they were younger. My dad ended up going back, but still doesn't have a real job. My mom tried to go back, but apparently they wouldn't let her. Now she's in her 40's complaining about how she can't go back despite the fact that she could since she just spends her time sitting ar...

Scarborough: Do you think that the local RSPCA or kennels need free help?
I am 14 years old and although I have an active routine through the day, on some days I have plenty of spare time. Do you think the locals kennels or RSPCA will need help looking after the animals? Is there any particular things I need to know or be capable of?
I'll mention that I live with and around a variety of animals and have no allergies etc. Also, I don't mind working in all weather and I'm used - and don't mind doing the dirty jobs!

I am looking for some non-profit organizations, so I can do somthing here in China. Either animal pretect, help people reduce violent when teaching kids. changing people's way of thinkings, make people understand different isn't necessary to be wrong. She has been going through a lot lately, she is young and may have to work 2 jobs to help her mother pay the mortgage on their new house they are getting, they are all leaving their step father who has been there since she was about 4 and moving to a completely different area away from all her friends.
