Richmond: question on swat and other domestic speacial operations?
are the swat team or elite team or special operations team or watever a state type team or a local type like wat job would i want to do before i enlist there. im a criminal justice student and am lokkin for a carrerr in law enforcememnt so i want to no about joining a swat team type thing

I wasn't an employee
At the end of February 08 a real estate law firm hired me as their office clerk/ secretary... they told me that they'd pay me $12.50 an hour, and possibly in 3 months they'd make me a salaried employee w benefits. Well that never happened. Fast forward to the beginning of November they said that they were going to have to let me go. It's a time were finding another job is a bit difficult and I have bills. Because I was in a contract position (no taxes w/held- no agency involved), does that mean that I can't file for unemployment? Also from 01/07-12/07 I was a salaried employee, at a different fi...

Well, I'm 14 and I want to start saving up for a car and college. So far, I've made most of my money selling stuff off eBay. Now, I'm starting to run out of stuff to sell. My wife was laid off in June 2007 and neglected to file a claim for unemployment benefits until May 2008 because she did not want to be a burden on the system and was sure she could find a new job quickly.
