Portugal: Why did my wedding planner resign?
My bride to be and I were a little particular I realize but isnt this his job to put up with that sort of thing and make our day perfect? We didn't even get that far into the planning stages, all we told him were the colors my bride wanted (some combination of champagne, peach, and powder blue) and we wanted unscented invitations (most of my family is allergic to perfumes!) and a white wedding cake with white frosted and a chicken mcnugget center, plus some other little things like location for the ceremony and reception and such, and we were already going to use the preist who married both of our parents. Do wedding planners normally throw hissy fits and freak out for no reason?...

Portugal: Why is everyone so upset with me for not wanting to put my baby in daycare?
I have been home with my baby since birth. I put some career things on hold so that I could have a baby and stay home with her and my husband was okay with that. We're not rich, but we live comfortably. I finished law school last year, but didnt take the bar exam because I had really bad morning sickness when I was pregnant, throwing up 6 or more times a day with all day nausea. Then I didnt take the following bar exam because it was a week off from my due date (and she was born right before the exam was offered).

Portugal: Applying For Public Assistance and Food Stamps?
Is it possible to still get public assistance and food stamps if you have a job? I work at a call center 5 nights a week, for 5 hours and I only get paid $7.25/hour, plus I will be starting college in January. I have to pay my father $250/month in rent and hardly have money left to get my own food (since he's hardly home and doesn't buy much but bread, eggs, or cheese lol). So yeah, I want to apply for it, but I don't want to waste my time if I'm only going to get denied. Any suggestions or does anyone know if I will get it or not?? Thanks!

Portugal: Getting a Horse when I get older?
I got my horse from my Aunt. She trained him herself. I love him and I could never see myself without him. Though when I get older I will need a more advanced horse for barrels and poles. I am twelve now and my dad and I were discussing about when I will need a better horse. Plus he will get too old for racing anyway.

I've been working my first IT job for 2 years now near Washington DC. I'm a computer analyst for a public school system near, which means I'm responsible for all things technology related at a high school and an elementary school. I'm basically the helpdesk, computer repair tech, and network administrator all in one. Plus I do the high school's website, and I'm doing a website for a business (never took formal classes or anything web related, all self taught). Portugal: Major delima about university worth it or not?
I've been in business for myself for the last 10 years and I've made a very decent wage. Something around 50k a year say, plus all the added benefits of being my own boss also factor into my salary. Due to some un-serendipitous events I was forced to close my business in September.
I have no formal education what so ever and going to University has always been on my life's things to do list. I am very capable of reaching goals and finding ways of enjoying things even if I don't intrinsically enjoy them. Portugal: After the election and McCain wins, some things he can do to help ! Your thoughts ?
First thing President McCain can do (ahhh nice ring to it isn't it) is summon all governors and mayors to D.C. where he'll ask each to suspend all taxes at the local and state levels for the tax cuts he wants to give us. Secondly, President McCain will then suspend ALL federal taxes then he'll announce government funded program cuts (that's the way to Big John just cut em off ) !
Now the tax cuts are in place at the local, state and federal level ! No more penalizing creative people ...... NO TAXES period ! Now that my friends is a real sweeping tax reform.
