Penzance: HELP!!! Career Change- Collections rep - Thinking About Working In This Industry. How do I get in?
I am not working now, but have worked as a mgr of a store front location, a customer service rep and a I.T. Project Coordinator.
I know people and enjoy talking to them and watching their behavior.
I want to be able to make more money than I did at my last job, which was 14.00 an hour.
Is this career really stressful and is there money in this field? What about the hours?
Part-time, full-time 40 hours or more???
Tell me all that you know.

Penzance: What college classes would help me make a career as a Football or Basketball Coach or General Manager?
Im a Junior in High School right now,
and im considering in trying to pursue a career as either a Football or Basketball Coach or General Manager.
I love both sports with a passion, and it would be my absolute dream to make a career out of either one of them.
But, I do not know what I should be doing that would help me accomplish my goal.
So, I thought that I would go ahead and ask someone what classes I should be considering on taking once I graduate from High School, and if they have any other advice that would help me make my dream a reality.
I would appreciate it very much if someone can really help me out.
Thank You.... 04 Dec 08, 03:12:04
Penzance: Is it worth it to go to college?
I'm about to graduate this year with a high school diploma and an AA degree from a community college (I did dual enrollment/both high school and community college at the same time). My AA is basically just general education because half of the electives/prerequisites are just random because I wanted to try out different classes to try to figure out what career i wanted to do and the other half of my electives/prerequisites are for marketing because I just settled for that when I realized I didn't like any college majors. I am starting to rethink college though, because I HATE community college and can't imagine 2 or 4 more years of classes. I've done TONS of research on T... 04 Dec 08, 03:12:32

Penzance: I feel inadequate compared to my bf, career-wise. Can this kill our relationship?
Okay, so I'm in college, and though we're not really going out yet, I've hooked up with this guy I've known for years, and we've been getting really close the past few weeks. We have similar interests, and feel comfortable in eachother's company. The problem is that I feel really inadequate compared to him, career-wise. He's on the fast track to graduating early(as a physics major), with a job already lined up, while I'm struggling with fighting my inner demons and finding my true passion(I'm an art major, but until recently, I was good at math and the like; I hit a wall and never recovered near the end of high school). Could this ball... 04 Dec 08, 03:12:14

Penzance: What are your thoughts on an Alabama County creating a holiday for Obama?
Just an excuse for another day off for county workers at taxpayer's expense and perhaps a little premature as he has not accomplished anything significant thus far in his political career (other than winning the presidency)?
