Nottingham: I include Hobbies and interests in Resume, but..should i just list them or explain projects i've done?
I was looking at a resume in a boook with examples of good resumes and it said
Hobbies/Interest
Dancing: Dance for so and so studio doing so and so type of dance since so and so year to so and so year
AND her resume was for a marketing job. So i want to include my hobbies too. The book said that i should include hobbies if they relate to the job i'm applying for.
For example, i'm going for an office assistant job . so i guess putting my computer hobbies , such as game programming or something would kind of help because it shows I have problem solving and computing experience.
But if i put it, should i just list it or describe some of the things i've created as ... 22 Nov 08, 06:11:10

Nottingham: What jobs are safe during these hard economic times?
I recently graduated with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and was offered a job from an Oil and Gas service company as a Field Engineer, and another job offer from Union Pacific Railroad as an Engineering manager (Operations Manager). Both of them pay about the same.
I have no idea which one to g for. But as you know, many companies might be going out of business in a few years from now, and I wanna work for a long lasting company. I just do not wanna get laid off after a year or so.
Any advices?
Thank you so much guys!... 22 Nov 08, 06:11:37

Nottingham: HELP!!!! WHEN WILL THIS END???
Since 2006 life has sucked
2 years ago, the day after Christmas, my fiancé told me he woke up and “realized he just didn’t love me anymore” and broke up with me. This was after I stayed with him for 2 years while he battled depression I got really sick that winter and went through numerous rounds of antibiotics, steroids, etc and never really physically recovered. Chalking it all up to just a “bad year” I pledged not to become bitter and give people and guys another chance. After that an old college guy friend shows up and we get friendly again. I become his “rock” while he is in the Marines. When he returns he takes me away on a once in a lifetime romantic vacation, get in... 22 Nov 08, 05:11:41
