Nottingham: Can teens have their own bank account without parents?
Ok i'm 16 years old and i have my first job. My mother is not a trustworthy person with money and informed me that her bank told her to take me in so they could put me on her account. I told her i wanted my own account and she said well you have to take me with you anyway. I just dont want her having access to my money because i know she would take it. So i need to know if i can have my own account without her having access to it or having to know anything about it to get into it....

Ok trying to make this sweet and simple... Basically when I was 18. I ignored my Grandpa and got a credit card, got screwed (department store) left for the Military Active duty, came back home in reserves paid it off after almost a 2 years of not paying it (figured it would just go away lol...not)... I now have a job making 40K a year as a Computer Tech for a corporation that is contracted with the Army. Serve in the Reserves, and work on call for an in house computer service , so im making fair amounts of money. Nottingham: ok.... Found out i was pregnant whilst training for new job!!!?
i was into a weeks training to be a health care assistant (on the bank) (which is staff who cover for maternity or sickness as and when needed) when i found out i was pregnant. told my main employer and she was fine with it. Went to the maternity ward and had an interview to be on the bank there too. this opportunity doesnt com up often as lots of people want to do this. The lady who set me up with the interview knows im pregnant but i dont think she informed the maternity staff. I work for a municipality and most people think our jobs are safe.
Our city managers have been trimming our budget/city services for two years, and now are in the process of eliminating staff .
We are losing our revenue with stores closing by the scores; less food and beverage tax and other sales tax income for the city; residents not able to pay their tax/utility bills. Many of the other municipalities in our area have laid off 5 to 40 workers.

Nottingham: Need financial advise, I want to get out of my credit card debt!!!!?
Well, it is ashamed to ask this question but it is true that I've been living in this condition for couple years now and it made me so depress because of my personal financial problem.
