Norwich: Who are Trans Mediums?
I looked them up on the net, couldn't find anything relevant. What I do know is that they have something to do with being able to interact with spirit/ghost/whatever you want to call deceased people who are still on earth.
I need to know more, because my boss called me into her cabin yesterday and was like, 'I need you to write an article about trans mediums and their proffesional job and how they react to dangerous situations, etc... Do you know what they are?' I thought for a second and was like, 'I saw something about a trans medium in an episode of a haunting on disc.science, I think they interact with spirits or something...' and she just looked at ... 22 Nov 08, 05:11:33

Norwich: Another child after difficult pregnancy & mysterious postpartum medical problems?
First pregnancy: Practically textbook for first 8mths. I worked up to 8mths complete w/o problems (just wanted to nap). In the last month I developed mild PIH & was induced at 38 weeks. Afte 27hrs of labor I ended up with a cesarean. Recovered so quickly I started training for my first marathon just 3mths later! I had no doubt I could do this again 2-3 more times! Bring on the kids!
Second pregnancy: Pregnancy was discovered by sudden onset of abdominal pain which the doc's chalked up to muscle pull after deciding baby wasn't ectopic. Abdominal pain came off & on through first 2/3rds pregnancy. Morning sickness was mild (nausea w/o vomiting) but lasted beyond the fir... 21 Nov 08, 07:11:34
Norwich: Can you beat public intoxication and failure to identify charges under these circumstances?
O.k. - here is what the cops report
1. I was passed out on the university library steps at 4 in the morning.
2. I had urinated on myself.
3. I had vomited on my shirt.
4. I initially gave them a fictitious name.
5. I thought I was in another country and told them this.
6. After they had me in custody, I refused to give them my identifying information.
Here is my defense.
1. I was physically exhausted from taking 16 graduate level hours and working two full-time jobs.
2. I have a diagnosis of anemia.
3. I was diagnosed with dehydration.

Norwich: My mom makes me feel guilty for leaving my daughter with her while I'm at work. What should I do?
I am a 26 yr old single mom. I work Mon-Fri 3-11:30pm and a 2nd job Mon-Wed 10am-2pm. My 3 yr old daughter and I wake up at 8am. I try to take her to the park or library or at least play a game/read a story or something each day. Then I take her to daycare by 9:45 Mon-Wed. and 1pm Thurs and Fri. My mom has to pick her up every day, feed her dinner and put her to bed each night. It kills me that I am not there. I call to check in around 7-8 and my mom always sounds exhausted and tells me how my daughter won't settle down and how hard it is on her. Then when I get home, she tells me what a rough time she had putting her to bed. She has even said things like I don't know how muc... 21 Nov 08, 03:11:17

Norwich: Please share some office party ideas?
I work for a public city library and I really love my job and the people there. We have an annual Christmas party and last year was just awesome. I cannot imagine a better office party, but I wanted some ideas I could float around for games such as a card game a large group of about 30 people could participate in. Lively games are welcome!
Also, we are doing a white elephant gift exchange and last year I brought a really lame gift...we actually share some pretty good gifts though obviously nothing too personal. What is a good overall gift that nearly anyone would appreciate...gift cards excluded.
I am pretty well respected at this particular library though I am quite young compared to ... 20 Nov 08, 08:11:32

Norwich: Why am I labled whitewashed even though I'm clearly Mexican-American?
This is kinda long but I still need your advice for this.
Let me tell you what happened first of all. It was at group therapy and we were talking about Identity. Pretty much everyone in the group is Latino although the majority of us were Mexican. The other kids brought up stuff about whitewashed and almost everytime it was brought up, the others glanced at my direction and one guy was all like No offense to you, buddy. I knew they were just playing around but it still kinda hurt my feelings that they don't see that I'm just as Mexican as they are even though I call myself Mexican-American while they just call themselves Mexican. Then when therapy wa... 20 Nov 08, 05:11:48
