Hello! (sorry for the misspells but I'm not local) Well, I'm 23 years old and I get 54 pounds as a weekly housing benefit because I'm redundant. Also I have a 25% discount on my council tax benefit because I'm a single tennant in my flat. Because I been made redundant and I'm the only occupant of my flat, I pay £13.00 pounds as a council tax. Now I would like to share my flat with a student but I don't know if my benefit will be affected or not. I recently got a job and they will check my consumer report. However, a few months ago, I got to the US to marry my husband. I used to be an international student. I got my social security number in August 2005 when I got a job on campus. I worked on campus for two semesters until my graduation. Now, I cannot apply for any credit cards because I am not a permanent resident.(in this Dec, I will have my interview for my residency). I'm a current college sophomore with a 3.2 GPA at a fairly large (27,000) person university. I also received a 1290 on the SATs out of the 1600 scale.
