Well, I think I know what it is. Now, before I sound like a complete idiot, let me explain: I'm in resource mathematics. I'm in the 11th grade and I'm about to take the ACT's. I know you're probably going Haha, he's in Resource Math, he must be retarded... but whatever. >.>
I asked my teacher could she expain it and what it was about. But she insisted that I did not need to know because they would give me an alternate test. See, I don't want an alternate test. I want to learn this. If she won't do her job and teach me, screw it, I'll learn myself.

Newquay: can your employer change your job NZ?
I am employed as a security officer by a building management team.
Recently they have been adding extra duties to my role. I am now acting as a receptionist for a serviced apartments run from the same site, responsible for balancing the till during my shift, taking reservations and checking in guests, valet parking etc. Im expected to make charges to credit cards etc. I have Absolutely no experience in this field.
Can your employer add on extra duties like that, without asking you if its okay?
Further more I've written a letter stating that im not confident with the new tasks, I've asked for training and received none.
I would prefer that my role continued unchanged but...

Newquay: What is the pay for KMart Loss Prevention?
I have a job interview for LPA on monday, and my question is what would the hourly pay rate be? I've worked for Acme Markets for 4 yrs as a meat dept clerk and have dealt with doing inventory, and daily throwout logs. I'm fully aware what shrink is, and have been trained about how to prevent it. I left there making $11.00 an hour, but was only part time (like 30-35 hrs a wk.)
I've worked as a full time casino security guard (for the past yr.) at 11.00 hr, due for a 50 cent raise this mo. (40 hrs a wk). On k-mart's site it said the pay went from 9.65-11 starting.
So if i were to get hired, do u think it's likely that they'd start me off at 11? The LPM I spo...

I did get married young and still am young I have 2 kids that are everything to me. Just in the last year i lost my job as did my husband... we lost our house which we put everything in to and we are now living at the parents.... we i have noticed that since we have lived here that the stress levels are out of site!!!!
