yesterday, i had a job interview at gap. I think it went fairly well. my interviewer was very impressed about my volunteer experience, and thought that it was awesome the i've worked with so many different people at such a young age. after, she started to tell me how much money i would make, the employee discounts, how i could plan my working schedule, how to contact her if i need to take the day off, etc. she also told me that i should qualify for the job, however i should understand that i need to be quick.
at the end of the interview she said i SHOULD know if i have the job or not by today. it seems really quick though, they interviewed me yesterday, and i get to know by today. h...

Newquay: What is the pay for KMart Loss Prevention?
I have a job interview for LPA on monday, and my question is what would the hourly pay rate be? I've worked for Acme Markets for 4 yrs as a meat dept clerk and have dealt with doing inventory, and daily throwout logs. I'm fully aware what shrink is, and have been trained about how to prevent it. I left there making $11.00 an hour, but was only part time (like 30-35 hrs a wk.)
I've worked as a full time casino security guard (for the past yr.) at 11.00 hr, due for a 50 cent raise this mo. (40 hrs a wk). On k-mart's site it said the pay went from 9.65-11 starting.
So if i were to get hired, do u think it's likely that they'd start me off at 11? The LPM I spo...

Newquay: I'm being flown out by a company for a face to face interview. What should I expect?
I live in Iowa and had an initial phone interview with JBS, a world leader in the meat processing and packaging industry, that is located in Colorado. The day after my phone interview they called and wanted me to fly out for a face to face interview with about 6 different supervisors/managers the following week. I was just curious to what the interview process consists of and what kinds of questions I should anticipate answering. Also, what would you say my chances are they are planning on offering me the job if they are willing to front all these expenses? This is an entry level position in their finance leadership program. I'm 16 weeks pregnant and I have a job interview tomorrow. I was just wondering if I should tell them i'm pregnant or wait till after I get hired. My bf and my mom both think I should wait but i'm afraid I could get in trouble or even fired for not telling them. Can I? My bf and my mom think they won't hire me if I tell them I am pregnant. Newquay: Should i not feel bad that my major was a Foreign language(most people think it's stupid to majorInLanguages)?
I always feel embarrased to tell people my major but it's a question that always comes up. In Work interviews, with family, etc etc.
And when people see that i majored in foreign language, and moreover a language that has no use where i live, they fake being impressed by it but i know that deep inside they are thinking What a stupid a**, why he chose that stupid major
Because my major is not something that is valued and glorified in society( ie. Computer Science, Engineering) i always feel really bad when asked what my major is. Can't people just not ask..... i guess not. So what should i do to feel good about it?
I'm 28 male, i'm not a recent graduate...

So i have been unemployed for 7 months since i got fired from my last job. Well i been to interview after interview and nothing! then suddenly back to back i got hired from 3 places. banana republic, forever 21, and aeropostale. Well i think banana republic is a lost cause because this woman hired me but nver set an orinetation date and whenever i call her her shes never there. I work for the state in the Human Resources department. In order for an employee to get their last check they have to do an exit interview or they dont get it. A lady came in today that worked there for 2 days never went to her work area she was taking the training classes you have to take before you go to your unit. She got another job and left.
