Newquay: Is there a safe and gentle way to transport my dog cross country?
We are moving from South Florida to Arizona. I have a 9 year old 50 lb part lab mutt who tends to be very nervous. I have heard that its traumatic for pets to travel in cargo on an airplane and I am concerned how he would handle it. He gets all hyper and scared when I drive him in my car to the vet. If he is medicated he does fine but I know you cant medicate animals when they are flying, nor would I want to without him being monitored. Does anyone know of a good and affordable courier service or have any ideas about this? I cant drive him myself because I have a newborn and a toddler to handle as it is....
