Hi all,
I am currently looking for a job and am interest either SF or LA, so just wanna get a quick reference from anyone who have been working in both SF and LA california, any comments? pros and cons? pay rate? living expense etc. any comments will be appreciated.

Im married w/2 little boys. Im a usualy a very optomistic person who always takes control of her life. But i find im very unhappy, ok, miserable in my marriage. I just go along with it but he knows im not happy and he says he is which im sure... Milton Keynes: How does a stay at home mom re-enter the work force?
I have stayed at home with my children for the past 10 years. Right now does not at all seem like a good time to try to re-enter the job market but I have little choice as my husband lost his job after 23 years and we will lose income no matter what we do. I am trying to figure out how to address my employment history. I am only 31 so I have very little history - just the jobs I had in high school and college. I have a bachelors degree in business management. Should I return to school? Should I list stay at home mom on the application to explain the gap or just leave the gap? I'm not sure how to even start....

Milton Keynes: What is the pay for KMart Loss Prevention?
I have a job interview for LPA on monday, and my question is what would the hourly pay rate be? I've worked for Acme Markets for 4 yrs as a meat dept clerk and have dealt with doing inventory, and daily throwout logs. I'm fully aware what shrink is, and have been trained about how to prevent it. I left there making $11.00 an hour, but was only part time (like 30-35 hrs a wk.)
I've worked as a full time casino security guard (for the past yr.) at 11.00 hr, due for a 50 cent raise this mo. (40 hrs a wk). On k-mart's site it said the pay went from 9.65-11 starting.
So if i were to get hired, do u think it's likely that they'd start me off at 11? The LPM I spo...

Milton Keynes: what major or a specific program for working at an airport?
i'm currently majoring in Marketing Management and Im half way through already so I'm not sure if I should switch major at this time. Anyway I really would like to work at an airport someday , what type of jobs I could get out of there with my Marketing Management Degree.
I thought about becoming a flight attendant before cuz I believe I got the looks and height for it but I have a fear of being on a plane..well you know what I mean...

Which do you consider has more Validity in the job market today?
Ive looked into both Certificate and Degree schools, both offering great opportunities in either field, but what would you think an employer would look more highly upon?

Milton Keynes: Is New York the Only State where single adults with no children can qualify for welfare during an emergency?
Just wondering. In this job market, its pretty scary to imagine somewhere in another state if you are let go and unemployment benefits run out. Not even fast food restauants or grocery stores are hiring around here, so, what do you do?
New York has a safety net for adults without children, but it is our own state funded welare program for those times when emergencies happpen and you are really looking for work.
Do any OTHER states have welfare assistance for adults without children?...
