Milton Keynes: What happens if you break a contract with a job agency!?
I'm undecided whether to take a job from a job agency because is for one month contract plus is going to be part time for minimum wage. I'm waiting from another company to respond to me regarding an interview where the pay is 50% higher and full time but is going to conflict with the time.
What happens if i start working for the job agency and half way i quit?

I'm a young woman who is looking into adoption. My partner and I are both women, and we live in Victoria, BC, Canada. I am19 and she is 23. We are married and my wife holds a full-time job. I don't work yet because I am waiting for permanent residency paperwork, but once that is done I plan to work part-time while I finish my nursing degree.

Milton Keynes: How do I handle collection agency bullies?
I have bee receiving numerous phone calls from a debit collector looking for someone with the same first name as me but a different last name. They constantly call my job. They ask the receptionist for my fist name, so she transfers the calls to me. Once they get my extension they ask for the first and last name of this person. SEVERAL times I've told them I cannot receive calls at work and that I am not Mrs. Gray. I've spoken to the manager, she then asked me for my social security number, which I refused to give to her. She then threatened to call my human resources department ....

today a bill collector called twice looking for an employee at my job today. i answered the phone both times. the first time he called, he asked for the employee, and i transferred the call. about a minute and a half later, the same person called back and asked that i take a message to be delivered to the employee. i obliged and told him to begin once i'd had a pen and paper handy and this is what he said:

is it worth me trying for an lgv licence if i had a drink driving conviction 17 years ago(dont drink anymore taught me a lesson), will this stop me getting jobs if i pass. i know that some agencies that carry out crb checks on new drivers and i assume i wouldnt get any work through them...

Ok here is the deal I work for State social service agency as a fire and safety representative. Basically I go to all group homes and battered women shelters to conduct fire and safety inspections. This position is a dead end I can not promote to a higher level. My question is what area of the MSW program would benefit me most keep in mind my background is health and fire safety. Hi, I work in the accounting department of an advertising agency owned by my aunt. She also owns several franchises in 3 different states and wants to expand. She likes where she is with her current franchise and is thinking of bringing a couple video game stores to the city where the home office is, where I work. I have applied for a job recently at a agency and had the interview and such and all went well, they really liked my work experience and said I would fit the job well. I have been in contact with them threw email and every time I ask about the job and its availabilty still they say it is available and they just can't get a hold of one of my references so that is why I am not there yet. Well I recently contacted that reference (which is a good one, my old employer) and he said that the agency already contacted him before for work history on me, so they did contact him according to the reference. What is going on here? Am I getting the run around with this agency or what? ...
