Milton Keynes: What will happen next?
How will i tell my guardian? I'm a 17 year old, and I'm pregnant. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is 20, that has a great job, and is working his way through college. But- I'm scared, i don't want to tell my grandmother [[who i correctly live with]]. B/c a few days BEFORE i conceived she bought me birthcontrol... Shes always lecturing me about if i ever got pregnant..blahblah. I have a feeling she'll force an abortion on me. Which won't be a option. I plan on telling my mother. B/c A) she wouldn't be mad. B) she'll allow me to move in with her to help. But my boyfriend is always telling me hes not ready for children, and here i ...

Milton Keynes: BNP Police Witch Hunt ?
We read that Police forces throughout the land are scouring the leaked BNP membership lists for the names of their officers. It would appear that no BNP member is secure in employment if they are a Police Officer, and the Prison Service has said that they will 'oust outright' any Prison Officer who is on the membership list. Does this mean a future reluctance of certain professions joining certain political parties, or will membership go 'underground' to prevent future detection ? and what of members of the Police and Prison Service, if its a 'free' country should they not have the right to join legal organisations regardless of policy ? are there any jobs wh...

Milton Keynes: How to tell him he's too much like a parent?
My parents aren't really around a lot, which gives my older brother a lot of responsibilities. Lately, he's been on my case about everything. I get good grades, and I'm plenty respectful of my teachers and elders, can't he just be happy with that? He's constantly yelling if I skip meals or if I sneak out. That isn't his job. How do I tell him that I want him to be more of a brother than a guardian?...

Milton Keynes: What are your Views on This Article about Prostitution?
Excerpts follow from a recent article: Germaine Greer says it's better than stacking shelves at Tesco. But a government review suggests the reality is a life of drugs, violence and handing the money over to pimps. Last week during an Intelligence Squared debate on paying for sex, Germaine Greer announced that selling it was better than selling a kidney or your soul for long hours for wretched pay stacking shelves at Tesco . Now the government is putting the finishing touches to a review of the sex industry that presents a very different picture of exploited, often drug-addicted women running severe risks in exchange for money, most of which ends up in the hand...

Milton Keynes: The 12 Zodiac Stages of Life?
1: ARIES (Spirit/Pre-Birth) The form in which you were created by God. The pure essence of You. You are the only soul with your particular brand of personality. You've just came into being, so you're not yet ready to cross over into physical form. 2: TAURUS (Birth) You are born into physical form by physical parents. You now use your physical senses to take in the world around you. 3: GEMINI (Infant) You're still a baby and learning sounds, shapes, colors, animals & even words. You don't quite know who you are yet. You're still learning the basics of life, like right & wrong. 4: CANCER (Toddler) You are strongly attached to your parent(s) o...

Milton Keynes: Can a 17 year old that is expecting a child get emancipated from her parent's home?
My friend is 17 and she is pregnant. She has an 18 year old boyfriend with an apartment, she attends school, and she has a job. We live in South Dakota and she currently lives with her uncle. Her parents are divorced and her father is her legal guardian. Also, she is mentally abused and lives in a smoking environment. Her mother is abusive towards her hence the reason she does not live with her mother. Is there anyway she can get emancipated from her parent's residence?...

Milton Keynes: 200,000 jobs barred to non-European migrants - a step forward?
Two hundred thousand skilled jobs in Britain will be closed to non-European migrants from November 27, when the new points-based immigration system comes into effect, the Home Office announced yesterday. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2008/nov/12/immigration-policy-jobs-home-office a step forward? is the question you can tell by the question mark! Raj - When Non-EU and EU nationals have the same qualifications, then why should government permit EU to work and restrict Non-EU nationals. Purely because we are non-whites. Don't play the race card - Australia, New Zealand, US, South Africa are all non EU with many 'white' people. There is a treaty with t...

Milton Keynes: foster home? parents? another guardian? help?
like 4 months ago, i moved to Canada to live with my grand mother (my mom lives there and doesn't want to come here, my dad passed away 5-6 years ago) well things haven't been going well with my grand mother, for real..I'm being totally honest about this...the thing is....I don't do anything wrong and she goes wild, screams. The things she say actually is killing me from inside, I couldn't ever imagine my grand mother saying those things to me For example..my grand mother once lost her necklace...the first one who got accused was me (how can she accuse her own grand son?) and i was totally shocked, i said no i didn't do it. She said it's me, her and my co...

Milton Keynes: How does a 16 yr old find a good job in the Seattle area? please, enlighten me?
Ok, so i'm 16, and as far as 16 yr olds go...i'm pretty well qualified. I've basically grown up in the restaurant business, and until recently, i worked at my guardian's cafe. However, it seems impossible, not only to find a cool job in seattle, but one that will hire me at my age. what sites should i go to and such? any advice, really, will be very appreciated. i'm best qualified as a barista, or as an employee at a cafe that serves simple foods (paninis, soups, salads, etc)...but i'd also be completely willing to work in retail....

Milton Keynes: Obama's Policies, and why the make sense. Your guys Thoughts??? I want democrats and republicans?
These are a my opinion's on what republicans criticize about Obama. I don't care if you're republican or democratic, but why do so many people think supporting gay marriage and abortions is one of Obama's flaws???! Gay Marriage Republicans act so prideful for their country; being the greatest in the world, giving everyone in it equal rights, but when it comes to homosexuals, all of that suddenly vanishes, and instantly not all people can have the rights everyone else has like getting married!!!!! Why do people care what others do. If someone wants to get married, they should have every right to regardless of their orientation. That isssssss according to the const...
