Hi People, I will like to know , HOW MUCH LONGER takes to get the condicional resident.. I apply for the 2 years condicional resident , Application for to Travel, employment authorization document, i did all this over a Lawyer , thinking that way will be faster .. Inmigration says the recived my forms Agust 21st , I came to the states with my husband in July , why the TAKING SO LONG? Milton Keynes: Employment contract advise needed...?
I have worked for a month in a company, and i want to resign. But, my employment contract stated i need to pay 3 months salary and serve 3 months, if i resign before confirmation. If i failed to turn up at work for 2 days in a row.. does that mean the contract is terminated? and do i need to pay any penalty...

Milton Keynes: can your employer change your job NZ?
I am employed as a security officer by a building management team.
Recently they have been adding extra duties to my role. I am now acting as a receptionist for a serviced apartments run from the same site, responsible for balancing the till during my shift, taking reservations and checking in guests, valet parking etc. Im expected to make charges to credit cards etc. I have Absolutely no experience in this field.
Can your employer add on extra duties like that, without asking you if its okay?
Further more I've written a letter stating that im not confident with the new tasks, I've asked for training and received none.
I would prefer that my role continued unchanged but...

Milton Keynes: Are there any out of the ordinary ideas for employment opportunities?
I came across a friend who recently managed to land a position as a deck hand on a barge in the transportation industry, whereas the employee is on duty for 28 days, then off for 28 days, and the pay is excellent. I thought this to be a great opportunity, and although that specific company is not hiring right now I just know there are all kinds of similar situations whereas one can either work from wherever they are located, or leave for periods of time for work, and am wondering if anyone has some fresh ideas or insights. (I am really not looking for get rich quick marketing schemes, thank you).
