London: Planning a life as a Newmarket Racecourse worker (England)?
I'm 15 and considering going to live in Newmarket (UK) and being a stable hand or possibly apprentice jockey, leading on to higher careers. Should I do a couple of years at a college doing equine studies instead of A-levels then go rent a flat in Newmarket and start work for them. Any ideas on what I should do about further education before work, accommodation, the job or extra ideas? Thanks!... 02 Dec 08, 09:12:04
London: Physical Therapy help?
I am currently a freshman studying physical therapy. I was wondering if it was possible to eventually get a job as a physical therapist in the military after i graduate even though I am a civilian. Would I have to go through ROTC or enlist, or would I be able to go through a civilian training to get accustomed to the military world? thank you!... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:22
London: What do you think? Just strange or really homeless?
I have been in a relationship with a man for 2 1/2 months and I have yet to see this man's home or family. He is very secretive about his career and will not discuss any part of how he makes money to live on. He carries gym bags and store plastic bags around with his belongings in it everyday that i've known him. And, since I am the woman his says he would like to spend the rest of his life with, I feel that I deserve to know more about his personal life, like he knows about mine. I do ask questions.
He first told me that he is a Basketball Recruiter that works 6 months out of the year and gets paid through out the year, then it decreased to 4 months out of the year, and that he... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:28
London: What can I do with a professional degree if I make the military a career?
I'm in the Reserve and was planning on doing ROTC and finishing my bachelor's at the same time, but now I'm thinking I'd like to stay in the Reserve a little longer to get a professional degree and do ROTC while I'm working on that. Apart from JAGs and Doctors, is there any other way I could use a professional degree in the Air Force, or is a Bachelor's all I need? If so, what degrees (in what subjects) would I need for what officer jobs? (I'm not thinking civilian since I do plan to stay in for my 20).... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:24

London: I need someone with some expertise or experience in the field of court ordered support. (child and spousal)?
My ex is refusing to get a job and pay his child support. Unfortunately the state of Oregon is a little slow on the enforcement, so I will have to wait and see what happens.
He is also ordered to pay me spousal support, and though the division of child support has agreed to rout the money to me if he offers to pay, they will not enforce that order.
I want to know what I can do to 'motivate' him to get up off of his butt and get a job. I know he is surviving off of his parents (they don't give a damn about any of this) and he is probably selling drugs or doing something under the table so the state cant take the money from him.
Im really at a loss on how to get this done.... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:37
London: Does anyone understand this question?
It was posted by Tara J, and deleted, and I am just sitting here scratching my head, trying to make some sense of the nonsense:
Is it true that Squirrel lost his job at the carnival because he looks like a known sex offender?... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:50
London: Best way to find a part time preschool teaching assistant position?
I'm in California. I've been in school (at night) taking Early Childhood Education classes - and have earned 15 units (but lack one class for the 12 units needed for the first certificate)
I've been working in the high tech corporate world as an assistant for 20 years, and now I would like to get into education.
Recently, because of the economy, the executive search firm where I am employed cut my hours from 40 to 24. I am now available to work in a preschool or elementary school on Mondays and Tuesdays or every day in the mornings until 12:30.
Can you give me any tips/tricks/advice as to how I can most easily find a job assistant teaching? I have signed up with two o... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:13
