London: Should I use my real name?
I just recently graduated Film School, and need something that pays the bills. So while looking for work, I came across a xxx company that needs people. I eventually want to write/direct real movies, but I need to make ends meat, plus this job is something I wouldn't mind doing.
The problem is, is that soon I will be directing. When people watch my work, I want them to know it's me entertaining them, but than again Hollywood frowns at that type of thing.
Should I use my real name? Also if you don't believe me, humor me, and pretend that you do.

London: Will majoring in Creative Writing get me anywhere? (College help)?
Hello. I currently attend University of Houston and want to major in English Creative Writing because it is the only thing I'm good at... but would it get me anywhere other than being a teacher? I heard it was hard to get a job with an English major. I'm not that great of a student (I don't excel above most people) just an average student, I don't have connections at all or many friends. I do have a passion though in Filming. It would be nice to work with the movie or entertainment industry or help create movies or shows but I heard it would be hard to get anywhere if you don't live in L.A, California or don't even have connections. Can you help me figure out what to study in college?
I am strongly captivated by and interested in the following:
Nostradamus
Whether spirits existed in the middle ages
Ancient history and older literature and languages and films
Greek Gods
It cannot be math or a hard science
I've been dragging my mind over this for so long now even though I have a lot of time. But i've considered English, history, film studies, philosophy and classics.... whether it's going to get me a job or not is not important to me...

London: Are You Sick Of Americans Making Their Own Versions Of British Television And Films?!?
This is NOT an anti-American question by the way, before any one moans about that!
I myself am sick of it! They keep trying and they never even do a good job of it!
A Few Examples:
Red Dwarf - Terrible version that didn't even stick to the story properly and had poor choice in actors. Never made it past the two pilot episodes.
Peep Show - Aweful, didn't even use the same filming technique that made the British version so brilliant. Didn't make it past the first pilot episode.
The I.T. Crowd - Pilot was made and may or may not have been broadcast (not entirely sure on that) either way the series was never fully made and NBC seems to have abandoned this idea.
