London: Having Sex to induce labor?
I have kind of a weird question about having sex to induce labor. I know it helps because the sperm helps to soften the cervix and the orgasm helps the uterus to contract. However, after we have sex should I like... hold the sperm in there? Like when you're TTC? Do I need to like wait a while b4 I pee so the sperm can have time to soften it? Haha sorry if this is too weird... I just don't know!! Thank you in advanced!... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:16
London: Where will Anquan Boldin end up at the end of the season. ?
Fitzgerald signed a huge contract for 3x what Boldin is getting. there have been rumors that he wants a trade if a bigger contract is not offered. The Cowboys and the Eagles both want him.
Do you think he will resign, or be traded to the Eagles or the Cowboys?
(Im asking this because im getting his jersey for Christmas and I dont know if I should keep it if he wont even be playing by the time I get it. Dont want to waste $109 to have him be traded.)... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:29

London: Help answer! contractor consultation fee?
I am a contractor in ca and can not afford to waste my time running around doing estimates for free anymore. my crews costs me thousands a day and i should be making money instead of wasting 5-7 hrs a day writing up extensive estimates with all specs included just for the home owner to show someone else it to low ball or do it themselves since they have all the info. i need help finding a contract or agreement of some sort so when i visit the home they fill out a questionare that states there is a consultation fee and sign it so i can bill them for my consultation and me not waste my time on free estimates. also im not trying to hire someone to do them since a tiny screw up in a contract or ... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:27
London: question for trade union reps and/or human resources?
wonder if anyone can shed any light on this one,
I'm having difficulty in joining the Trade Union which some employees (albeit in other departments) are members.
My employers Human Resources have instructed Payroll not to deduct union fees from my salary.
I asked HR (in writing) why they were not paying my fees and I have been told (in writing) by my Human Resources Manager that ' 'the department which I work in' is not Trade Union recognised'
I have verbally asked her the question 'how does one go about being recognised', I am awaiting her response.
In my contract of employment it states 'terms & conditions are not governed by a collectiv... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:39

London: Is my employer taking illegal advantage of my skills?
I started a job as an IT Support Officer just over a year ago. I am finding it frustrating that I am getting increasing more work to do.
In layman terms, can an employer say in a contract: ‘we can request you to anything we think you are capable of’'?
Is there any UK law that states the the employer must be more precise?
Please help.

London: Can my employer go back on their word with my holiday entitlement?
The company I work for went through a merger last year with several other companies. This lead to all of the employees receiving new contracts to sign earlier this year. As they were in a hurry to get staff to sign the new contract they verbally promised the staff that we could have 20 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays from this year even though this amount doesn't become law until October 2009. This was also backed up in writing in the written contract that I signed in July this year.
However my employer is now saying that the holiday entitlement is on a pro rata basis and as the contract was not signed until July I am only entitled to 18 days plus bank holidays. However there ... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:12
