London: Should I get this purse?
I'm 18 years old, and since I was 12 years old I have been looking for a purse that I would actually use. I tried a few, and I've looked at a ton, but never found anything special. There is this bag I just saw at Urban Outfitters this past Sunday night, and I fell in love with it. The problem is, it's 68$, and I JUST made a bank account, and I'm trying hard to not spend the money (I only have $165, from working as an election officer). With the economy, I can't even get a job right now (I have tried many times, and I don't want to make excuses but I have OCD and it gets in the way). I'm still in school, and the bag would be perfect. It hasn't left my m... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:27
London: Army wife with Master's in Accounting, what can I do?
I'm going to get married in two weeks to my fiance who is in the army. I know we'll be moving a lot, and I have a Master's in Accounting. I was wondering what related government/army jobs are available for civilians? Any ideas?... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:39
London: C# PROGRAMMING HELP NEEDED! PLEASE?
Your job is to create a program that will read the gas system file one record at a time (transaction by transaction) and parse out the pertinent data from this data record, and then reconstruct the pieces in the format expected by the new accounting system – writing them one transaction at a time to the new file. In other words, you must create a program that will create a feeder file for the new system.
In addition, your manager wants to be able to report to his manager the total number of gasoline transactions made, the total number of gallons each of regular and 10% ethanol, and the total dollars for all sales for the period being studied. In addition, you should have a data entr... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:04
London: Invasion of privacy and fraud? Do I have a legal case?
I donated $18 dollars to the ASPCA in January of 2008, only to find out they take that $18 every month. So I canceled my donations in February of 2008. In order to donate that money, I had to give my check card number. In 9 months I lost my job and am currently on unemployment. In NC, the unemployment money goes onto a state issued debit card which obviously is not the same card that I had when I first made a donation. I was reading over my statements for this state debit card and realized the ASPCA had taken $10 off my NEW card. How they got this information, I do not know. I also received a letter in the mail dated November 4th saying they appreciate me speaking to a representative ... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:54
London: How much notice should I give and how should I give it?
I have been working in a new job for about three months that has been making me miserable and that I am a horrible fit for. One of my old managers has recently offered me a new position which he said I could either start in two weeks or at the beginning of the year. My employment contract for my current position allows me to quit or for my employer to fire me with or without notice. My plan is to give two weeks but I have a couple of concerns.
First, my current manager really likes me a lot and I could see him getting really pissed and just letting me go immediately. The second issue is that since I am in a sales position that involves calling on customers once I leave it is somewhat poi... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:51
London: Parkway Lending Group?
I was contacted by a gentlemand named Joshua Redd who stated that I was approved for a loan of $5000.00. He advised me because I have some credit issues that I would have to secure the loan with $1200 which would equl the first 8 months worth of loan payments. So basically I would not have a payment due until Aug of 2009. I agreed (like an idiot) to wire some lady named Linda Price in Canada $1200.00 on a Thursday and supposedly the funds were to be deposited in my account on Friday. Well I wired the money as promised, called Joshua with the money gram number and he stated the funds were good to go and would be in my account the next day. Well Friday came around and I received a phone call f... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:41
