Lincoln: What are the best places to work for a college student during a break?
Any stores that you know of...
I like more private job environments, were your not in a mall or something... I liked construction outside a lot, but with the economy there are no openings... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:55
Lincoln: I have a question about a job offer description, read below:?
I have an interview tomorrow at an oil company. They have multiple positions available but I am going for two in particular. The first one is a day shift for $14/hr (in which it clearly states). The second is for an OVERNIGHT shift and the pay description is as follows: This long term opportunity pays up to 18.00/hr depending on experience.
* If they are the EXACT same job, just different shift...do you think that it will be more than $14/hr? Does it mean they will pay me atleast $16-18/hr for taking on the overnight shift?
*Also, the shift is from 10pm-6am. Do you think this is an advantage or disadvantage for a single college student (online classes) in her early twenties (21). Consi... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:14
Lincoln: Best places to buy used guns in San Antonio, TX?
I'm on a really tight budget right now and I need a gun quickly so I can get a better paying job as an armed security officer. I can't wait for my student loans or my tax return next year. I've been to several pawn shops and all of their guns are expensive, they are even selling used Hi Point guns for $200 when you can buy them new online for $150. I really don't want to pay the $50 fee to have the gun transferred to a gun store and I'm not sure I want to buy a Hi Point; I can't have my gun jam when I need to protect myself. I also went to a few gun shops and their guns are also expensive. I have less than $200 to spend right now. If you know of a pawn shop or a... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:39
Lincoln: College interview. HELP!?
Okay so next week I have a college interview. It is the college I really want to go to so I want to make a really good impression.
However, I have never been to a college interview before so I have no idea what to expect or how to prepare myself or anything.
So I was wondering if anyone with experience in this matter could help me?
What kind of thing will they ask me?
What will they be looking for in a possible student?
Should I dress smart as if I was going for a job interview or just casual?
I really need some help so I can prepare myself and get through the interview well.... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:49

An estimated 67,000,000 Americans, we are told, voted for Barack Hussein Obama on November 4, 2008. A landslide we are told; a mandate for change we are told.
The total population of the United States, according to the 2008 U.S. Census bureau estimates, is approximately 306,000,000. When we compare the number of votes for Obama to the total population, the percent who voted for Obama is 21.9%; hardly a mandate for change; certainly not a mandate for change of the type Comrade Obama has in mind.
In total, an estimated 130,000,000 Americans voted; ... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:36
Lincoln: Why are my female co-workers so rude to me?
I have notice in my lifetime that other women either pick on me or talk down to me. I am a college student and i am currently working in the post office and i really love my job but the girls i work with are so rude to me. Yesterday 1 of them found out that i was a virgin from a previous conversation and i told her how my bf broke up with me bc i didn't put out.
Well the next day we were all sitting @ the table she was talking 2 another girl and she rudely says yeah you know how guys are if u don't give'em what they want they are out of there and will leave u on ur on. she said it in a very snide b*tchy kind of away to get a reaction out of me but i ignored her.

Lincoln: Going to a Trade Cosmetology School or Real Cos. School?
So i want to go to Cosmetology School.
I had already found the place a i want to go, it's only about 15 mins from home.
The place is called Vanity School of Cosmetology.
Its a little place inside of a strip mall and just looks like every other place. Nothing Special.
It will cost $7500 to go to this school but after I graduate they're not going to help me get a job.
I was talking to my boyfriends sister who goes to Aveda.
She's telling me to go to Aveda because its only about 30 mins to that school, its popularly known, they teach you well and they can help you get a job after you graduate or you can work for Aveda.
I'm starting to think that maybe Aveda ... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:15
Lincoln: Should I stop going to college for now because I don't know what to do?
Right now Im a student (4th year of college). Im a gogo dancer (non nude) (500-1000 dollars a night). My goal is to graduate college with a degree that leads to a career that allows me to make at least as much money as I do now. I love dancing and performing but unfotunately, its not a long term career. I love making money. I love shopping and what I like about my current job is 1. the fact that how much money I make depends on how well I do my job (its innovative), not an hourly wage. 2. its challenging and you get alot of recognition for being good at what you do. 3. I get to socialize with people and figure out what they like. 4. its glamorous...I LOVE experimenting with hair, makeup and ... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:25
