I'm in California. I've been in school (at night) taking Early Childhood Education classes - and have earned 15 units (but lack one class for the 12 units needed for the first certificate)
I've been working in the high tech corporate world as an assistant for 20 years, and now I would like to get into education.
Recently, because of the economy, the executive search firm where I am employed cut my hours from 40 to 24. I am now available to work in a preschool or elementary school on Mondays and Tuesdays or every day in the mornings until 12:30.

I couple months ago I moved across the country to be with my long-term boyfriend. Everything has been great, and it's been the best thing I ever did for myself except with one little glich... I can't find a job here! Luckily I had saved up a little money and my boyfriend has been very understanding and supporting me through it, but I obviously don't want to rely on him the way I am right now forever. I got this call from a person who works at a temporary job agency, I would be going to an interview this Thursday. I feel great that its one step closer to landing on a job because job searching has been tough for me these few months. I don't know much of about how the agency works, but do they hire directly after the interview or do they mostly send you to other companies and you have to go for a second interview from there?
