Lincoln: Question about a new job?
I was just wondering if anyone else has had a physical when they got hired as a hospitality aide? I know that you have to provide a Urine specimen but I was just wondering, when your blood gets drawn at the physical is that also tested for drugs or just the urine? I have not smoked in 20 days which should be enough to pass the urine screening but I'm not sure about the blood testing. Please let me know if your blood does indeed also get tested! No rude comments just real answers please. It's not smoking tobacco that i am talking about lol...

Lincoln: Why does it seem like ever since Michigans economy has been getting worse.........?
It seems the people of Michigan have become friendlier and more humble? I remember back when the economy was amongst the best in the country, and people used to move to Michigan because it was the place to get a job, people back then seem like they where a$$holes. One would think the 2worst would be brought out by the declining economy, but it seems people in general have become more humble, and I even notice in places like Detroit, and Lansing people show more hospitality these days. Oh for sure! Michigabn could easily be one of the first states to become more dependent on clean energy sources like windmills, and natural use of water to create energy. I think it would be great if the sta...

Lincoln: Positive Career Change - No One is Supportive of Me other Than Myself?
I am in the process of making a positive career change and no one is supportive of me. I am currently unemployed, I used to work in hospitality and it never was my passion now I want to do what I love, a good friend of mine believes I should side track and look for retail work and my mum in recent weeks didn't want to support me going to up north, now she has totally put her foot down and said that I have to look for work in our current city (retail work which will kill my spirit), my career change is up north about an 1 hr away from my current location, there are literally hundreds and hundreds of jobs more than what is available here in my current city. I'm over 18 (please don...

Lincoln: For Irish people, someone who know something about places that offer jobs for foreigners?
I'm a Mexican English student, and I've been thinking to go to live to Ireland, I just came out with this idea, why Ireland? Well, I'm trying to improve my English and I would like to go abroad, and Ireland seems an ideal place to me, at least according to what I've read, ha ha. I know that Irish people are very kind and this country is well known for its hospitality. I also love celtic culture, so I think that perhaps it's exactly what I'm looking for, but I need to know if there's a way to find out if I can get a job there, being Mexican, and what kind of job would it be. If someone knows something about this and can give me some information, I'll be...

Lincoln: OK so I just moved to Vegas (COOL) but finding a job is brutal. I'd like to try something fun. Any ideas?
I don't have money for training or health cards so serving and hospitality are out. I really don't know all my last TEN years of employment history (Yeah they want all 10 with no gaps- RIGHT) and driving is out (had an issue with my license 3 years ago) so that leaves me in a tough spot... But I'm a great guy who can do just about anything so what should I do to get PAID????...
