Lincoln: What do you think? Just strange or really homeless?
I have been in a relationship with a man for 2 1/2 months and I have yet to see this man's home or family. He is very secretive about his career and will not discuss any part of how he makes money to live on. He carries gym bags and store plastic bags around with his belongings in it everyday that i've known him. And, since I am the woman his says he would like to spend the rest of his life with, I feel that I deserve to know more about his personal life, like he knows about mine. I do ask questions.
He first told me that he is a Basketball Recruiter that works 6 months out of the year and gets paid through out the year, then it decreased to 4 months out of the year, and that he... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:28
Lincoln: Objective in resume...what should I put if I have been unemployed?
I am posting this question for my boyfriend, we have a question about his resume.
In February of 2007 his mother had a level 5 stroke which left her disabled and dependent on other people once she left the hospital. He quit his job in order to stay at home with her. As always, medicaid and state stuff took a while, and we have just now been able to get someone to take care of her during the day. He has now been given the go ahead to get a job and move on from this rough time. So now he is trying to find a job, and I was helping him put together his resume. We were trying to figure out what to put as his objective? We have a letter explaining his unemployment from his mothers new caregiver a... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:02
Lincoln: Should I feel guilty about not taking my son to his babysitters for 2 weeks?
My son has been going to his babysitter now for a little over a month, and she works out of her home she also watches about 5 other kids. I pay her $150 a week (my son is 13 months). When I first spoke with her I told her how there would be times when I wouldn't be home (for weeks at a time) and my son would have to stay with either his father or grandparents and she was fine with it. Well yesterday I told her that my son wouldn't be here for the last two weeks of December bc he was going to VA to stay with his daddy and she kinda got upset and said oh no, that's a huge paycut for me! . I thought about it (that's -$300) and felt a little guilty only bc it... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:42
Lincoln: working towards SSDI, out of work since 94, don't want to lose SSI?
I am a 35 year old mentally disabled man who would like to work towards SSDI. It's actually my assumption that if i am able to work enough quarters to qualify for SSDI, that should my parents pass away, which i don't want, but i worry alot because they are getting old, and they are somewhat careless, that them leaving me 2 homes, and a small condo, wont jeopardize me losing SSDI or medicaid. The income those houses bring in to my parents are about $1400 right now combined. I hope to be able to keep medicaid benefits and earn SSDI, though if anything should ever happen to my parents, I might regret not going to school and working towards a higher paying job if it means that i won... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:22

Lincoln: husband advice?? sorry so long?
SORRY THIS IS SO LONG
Alright my husband and I have a awesome and very open relationship. We just had a baby so I am a stay at home mom. I know he loves me very much he goes out of his way for everything for me. I am some what spoiled by him. He just got a new job, and this is his first job working with woman our age since his first job back when we met. At his last job he used to call me on every break and lunch. His new job he doesn't barely call me on his lunch, he will call for a min. sometimes and say oh I will call you at my next break but he never does. And it didn't even bother me until yesterday he told me that he was thinking about getting a new job but it is... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:07

Lincoln: HELP! My Husband of barely one-year had online and phone-sex with another woman. What should I do?
I just celebrated my one-year wedding anniversary with my third husband. Not long after, I discovered that he had a brief on-line “affair” with someone out of state. Technically the affair occurred about three weeks before our anniversary. Now when I say “affair”, I mean he stayed up late at night at least on one occasion and had phone & webcam sex with a woman on-line. I also discovered that over a week or so period, he phoned and texted her several times. I confronted my husband and he vehemently denied (aka lied through his teeth) knowing the IM contact name I presented to him. He even went so far as saying that he could “sleep at night knowing that I am the only woman he w... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:51

Well for some reason we just didnt give up on our relationship. So I've been calling him like everyday and we're still together I went to see him like a month and a half ago and i had a lot of fun and I'm so glad that i did it.
