Leeds: What type of career is right for me?
I can't even begin to imagine all the different career paths out there, which is my problem. I have no idea what to do or where to start. Any suggestions would be amazing! Heres a bit about myself... I can't stand a 9-5 job..and I refuse to work at the mall. I'm completely passionate about helping people and have considered the medical field, but needles and blood make me pass out. I love doing volunteer work, and would volunteer my life away but unfortunately I need money to live. I love psychology, but feel that if I were to continue to get my bachelors and masters and become a therapist, I will only be able to help a select group of people. I also write and plan on writing...

Leeds: Can I lose custody of my 4 year old daughter?
Me and my daughter's father are about to be going through a custody dispute. A little background. I have been her primary caregiver since she was born. Her father has come and gone out of her life so frequently. He has disowned his parents along with his brother and sister because they didn't want to keep my daughter in time out when they would come to visit. So because they didn't agree to her being punished when she was there he told them they will never see or hear from her again. They are/were a very big part of her life. Now the only contact she gets with them is because of me. I take her to visit them. Her father and her grandparents live in Jersey as I live in P...

Leeds: Don't you wish that the government would get rid of public housing?
These folks need to learn how to be self reliant. My husband and I work our a$$es off paying mortgages, buying food, paying for health and life insurance and everything else. These people come into your neighborhood and bring their project mentalities with them and their bad a$$ kids and dope slanging boyfriends that are ready to rob and kill any one. They place no value on life. They make neighborhoods look low and disgusting. I live in a working class nieghborhood and it's starting to look like crap. If I had the funds to move I would. The elderly are so ashamed of how things look now. How in the hell can someone live in a three bedroom home and only pay 150 a freaking month, collect...

Leeds: Should i choose home schooling?
ok, so heres how it is.. im almost 14 (two-ish weeks) and im in year 9...im strongly concidering leaving school to be home schooled. basically, i hate school (and yes, i do know that every living child says that they hate school) im bored of my life. its the same damn routine every. single. day. and its pissing me off. i want to not have to go to school, so i get the chance to do other things, hopefully get a small job because i REALLY need money. and dont think that im just looking for an easy way out of school, not doing work and shit. i honestly think that i would be learning much better at home. i get so pissed off, everybody in class is SO fucking imature. and they just mess ab...

Leeds: Do you believe the following article regarding Muslims?
Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components. Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well. Here's how it works. As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most...

Leeds: can you help me to write a motivation letter?
I need help to write in a good english a motivation letter. I wrote it but I think there are many mistakes. Can you please check my english? the letter shouldn't be formal; all suggestion are accepted!! thank you!!! I am XXXX an undergraduate student of Computer Engineering at the University of Tor Vergata. I am 22 years old and I live in Rome, my hometown. Since I was a little child I wanted to travel, and spend some time in a foreign country and culture; I am an open-minded girl that likes to meet new people, cultures and styles of life. This is the main reason because last year I decided to leave Italy and live one year outside my home, and my country. I reached the ...

Leeds: Should I stay in this new job?
Hi all, I have just started a new job as a researcher (market research), after a year of working on two business magazines as a staff writer. I am feeling very confused because even though I have only been at this new job a few days and the learning pace is very gentle, I feel exhausted and emotionally drained. When I started, I had another newbie colleague as well, and I am starting to have negative thoughts that she is doing better than me - she seems to remember things we were told that I don't, gets what our colleagues are talking about while I'm still lagging behind, and just seems to be catching on faster. I do not want to be hasty, but I am trying to figure out what ...

Leeds: What career should I pick?
We don't have a career advisor at our school. I don't know what I like apart from Capoeira and writing fiction. When I ask people I know they'll say do English at university, or Medicine, or Law. To be honest I have no idea. All I know is that I want to live comfortably. Be able to work and still be home in time for my children. I imagine a fireplace in a study and a huge library of books. I also want to be able to eat out with my family or friends, whenever I want, get good tickets at the theatre (which seems expensive) or cinema. As for the job I want. I want to be able to talk about it. It doesn't have to a be a specific case but generally, especially at dinne...
